Mick
So did Ba and pretty much every other footballer that has joined us under Ashley, i really couldn't care less anymore tbh. Be signed for us and made a commitment, Remy never did, he p*ssed us about and kept us hanging on. A commitment with a 7m release clause attached to it, some commitment that. It was still a commitment.
Teasy
Only other team i remember being mentioned was Porto and i wouldn't be surprised if we offered more considering PL wages in general is higher than even teams like Porto usually pay. Well he might have been talking out of his arse but I remember him claiming at the time that Barcelona wanted him, but he knew he'd have a much better chance of Football here. timeEd32
Are we really arguing about the loyalty of modern day professional athletes? 99% of them want to make as much money as possible, live in as cool place with as many attractive women as possible, and grow their personal brand. And I don't begrudge them for any of that. Team accolades come after. In some ways it's admirable that Remy doesn't try to hide this.

toontownman
When he was here he oozed more class than any striker we have had here in the past 10 years imo. He instantly made our team look better, created space and was clever with his passing and movement. He is technically gifted on the ball. Only concern would be if we get a fit and motivated Remy. Cronky
Remy has the mobility and sharpness that Mitrovic lacks, so he'd make a difference. £12m sounds a bit over-priced, but if he's the best option available, we have to bite the bullet and pay up. sempuki
£12m is a snip these days - especially for a forward that guarantees goals. Just turned 29 too so not exactly ancient.
Minhosa
I can't stand Remy, he only came here to move on and made no secret about that. I know most footballers are the same but Remy didn't even try to hide it and I'm convinced his injury was bullshit. Agree that his injury was totally false and he's obviously a money grabbing shitehawk but, at this moment, he's probably our best chance of survival. nufcjb
Up to us now whether to let Leicester take him or fat Mike can splash the cash 1 final time. The only positive is that would Remy want to sign permanently with them or come here on loan, becomes our saviour, goes to the Euros then f***s off to a bigger club? Big Geordie
No brainer for Remy, you would think. Depends on how badly he wants to start every week.

Berahino looks a no-go and Remy looks our only real chance of getting a proven forward. Not long left to sort this out!

samag
£12m is a bargain man. Today's markets are inflated if you can do it in the Premiership, even for a 29 year old. He will still be dangerous for 3 years. It's easily worth it. Doubt you will get a better forward for that price...

Exactly, he wants to go to the Euros with France but he wants to go there in a Rolls Royce.

RobS
would compliment Leicester well i think, make more sense for him to be leading an unlikely charge for the title with the underdogs or try and save us from a relegation battle. Think were screwed personally, he wont come back, we won pay 30 mill for Berahino, will probably make one more bid for Lacazette, that will fail then call it and say it was a good window. then not score for 5 games in a row.... midstoon
Leicester already in talks for eder aswell for £13m. Remy will want to be guaranteed starter ahead of the euros.
FustinoSolano
Spurs back in for Berahino, Remy to Leicester, Lacazette is not a realistic option.... It's becoming blatantly clear that we aren't going to sign the striker required to fire us to safety, we'll end up with Gomis or someone just as bad and continue to struggle as we have all season. Lush Vlad
They already have Vardy, who is going to start when fit. That Asian guy who's name I can't spell, Ogasaki is it? Didn't they spend a bit on him and he's performing quite well? Plus Ulloa, who is a pretty solid player and they use him to see games out and as a target man, I believe. I think they only usually play with one up top, as well? He arguably has as much chance of minutes at Chelsea, as he does there. If he is genuinely concerned about playing time, then I think he would look to come here. We only have one genuine striker, who isn't actually scoring goals. Plus we usually play a formation that could also see him start on the left. All that said. Leicester have been great this season and I'm sure he'd rather play for Ranieri and a team challenging for the title. Rather than the beetroot faced farmer and a team fighting relegation (again).
