hakka
Been a good half, we have done well on the ball and created some half chances. Arsenal creating more dangerous ones but 1 - 1 is a fair result for the half.
cubaricho
Been a fucking snoozefest.
Zero
Obertan would be a world beater if he has Jonas' work rate and football brain.
Hanshithispantz
Absolutely ridiculous that we haven't played like we have the past 2 games all season, what was Pardew thinking man? Arsenal have been poor, but if we continue like this for most of the season we'll do alright, cannot wait to get Haten and Cabaye back.
Guest
This is set up for another narrow harsh defeat like.
Barnes23
Why didn't we play this system and pass it on the floor like this from August ffs. This. Excellent half.
Pata
Hate the way Drury says Carzola, sounds like he just had mouth surgery I hate the way you write it.
afar
To be fair I think we were the better side that half. If we can just keep walcott in control we could get something here
Stifler
We simply haven't been fast enough on the attack today, a little more pace and we could have easily opened them up but we lacked it and it has allowed them to get numbers back. Where have our fulbacks been today though? Ba his goal aside could have done better this first half, should have made a pass to our players on the edge of the box at 0-0, instead he took a shot from way out which hit off the first defender. He got up too early for the corner that he headed over as well, and just before he scored the free kick he should have got to a ball from a cross before that but lacked the pace. B-more Mag
Zipper trailed off a bit towards the end of the half, tbh.

Guest neesy111
Arsenal look ridiculously flat despite having boxing day off.
Tooj
How has it taken us so long to get Marveaux in the first XI? Joke. Time to adapt? Not fit? Plenty of reasons in all honesty.
tmonkey
This is the style of patient "carpet" football we should be playing every game. Pretty clear that the players have been instructed to keep possession, as the centrebacks are passing it on the deck 100% of the time.
Jaehyun
PLEASE don't take it Ba. Cool prophesy dude. You can thank me later. Shot was clearly going over the bar until I stepped in. It wasn't like.. Dw it was.
Tiresias
Should get at least a point from this, expecting heartbreak
Mike
PLEASE don't take it Ba. Cool prophesy dude. You can thank me later. Shot was clearly going over the bar until I stepped in. If you've had this power the entire season, why doesn't Williamson have like 125 goals?
JH
We're incredibly comfortable all things considered. Playing well, controlling the midfield battle but sluggish in the final third. Deserve to be level though. More of the same lads
LateRegistration
Following this match thread is ridiculous. We've gone from "dreadful performance" to "playing them off the park" in a couple of pages.
Dave
Funny how many opinions change just because we score. It's been a very average match IMO, but one which we've been very much a part of. Arsenal don't look like they're even trying that much, so I worry how our goal will fire them up. Scoreline is pretty fair.
Cronky
Marveaux has been a class apart. A strange feeling of confidence comes over me when he has the ball. Arsenal seemed to think that they only had to turn up to get the three points.
Dyeyzzon
Imagine Marv and Ben Arfa in the flanks of either Cisse or Ba.
