Frustratingly, when he was getting forward with the ball at pace, he'd play it to one of the 2 up top and they'd slow it right down. You can't take that away from any of them. 11/12 they had some great games together no denying that but then Tiote turned into Alan Smith and cabaye had his "depression" Saturday is probably the first time I've seen a decent central midfield performance since 11/12. Should only get better. Agree about Foy, thought he reffed well today but some of the ones he gave against Sissoko were so so soft. Bringing Cabaye on and taking Marveaux out freed him up in the second half. Marveaux was playing too central and they were stepping on each other's toes. Cajun Posted August 31, 2013 Share Posted August 31, 2013 The problem with this league is if you are bigger than another player all the opposition has to do is throw themselves on the floor when you are challenging each other and they will get a freekick.
