Laughing and smiling while talking with Tottenham players in the centre circle after he'd just captained NUFC to pathetic a 0 - 4 home defeat didn't go down well with me.

Me neither, always hard to see players doing that. It doesn't happen quite a lot though, all over the world.

Anita's been poor imo for a while now. I'd drop him against Villa and stick with 4-4-2 with Tiote Sissoko in the middle.

4-4-2, FFS, how many more games do you need to see at the moment to know that is suicidal for us at the moment. 4-3-3. Get De Jong down the middle, Remy and Ben Arfa either side.

But no you go with Pardew's utterly wank shit choice that saw us lose 0-3 to Sunderland and 0-4 to Tottenham.

The only way our personnel makes sense is with a midfield 3. No combination we have available works in a two.

Vs Villa.

              Anita    Tiote

                  Sissoko

Ben Arfa                      Gouffran

                    Remy.

Simple as that. You've got most of Pardew's old favourites in there, while playing everyone in positions they are comfortable with. Hell switch Gouff and Remy if you want to.

Yep, unfortunately our manager, unweirdly Brett and some others think going 4-4-2 is sensible. Fuck a duck.

Landmines happen all over the world, Ian.  You're supporting children being blown up.

And we can all see it, yet Pardew just can't. It shows what he really wants to play is a direct 4-4-2, and i hope the hell they don't let him choose players to but as that'll be the shit we see, even worse than now.

Thought he worked his ass off today.

His passing is terrible at times though, he gives it away so often. Not sure i've seen a player make the wrong choices so many times in a game.

The lad has something but his brain is holding that back imo.

I'm thinking that he uses up a bit too much energy at times when going on those surging forward runs - by the time he has to make a decision, he's probably a bit knackered that his outlet becomes more likely than not a laboured pass.

The way he walked out of offside when he should have made himself available for an Anita pass in the closing stages of the 2nd half. :anguish:

Disgraceful attitude.

I really don't like him very much, if there's no flair around him then he's basically a clogger and a waste of time.  Don't think he's being used well but he's really not the most inspiring of players to watch regardless.  Starting to look an athlete and nowt more.  Disappointing given that he looked a budget Yaya Toure when he first signed.

Really don't know what to make of him. At times he's unstoppable, bulldozes his way through defenders and can play some great passes. Other times he looks an abysmal clogger with a terrible touch.

Fuck knows.

He does have end product though, he's got 5 or 6 assists this year. Said it before and I'll say it again, good player that's just a bit erratic. He did some good stuff today and some poor, which is OK considering he was out wide a fair bit. I think he just needs to be a little more disciplined in his running as he seems to be knackered a lot.
