Guest
Arshole fans: http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=558&fid=516&sty=2&act=1&mid=2113050006 Is it me or are there more other club fans in that thread than Wigan fans? Hope the injury isn't too bad. The fact he wasn't sent straight to the hospital seems to discard a break. Of course, the ironic thing about that first post is, if their thug doesn't do our player, Perch doesn't have to come on the pitch in the first place. joeyt
You can guarantee that the punishment would be worse if it was a Man Utd (or other top 4) player
Minhosa
Seems the trolls are having a go at our players on twitter about this. Eh? In what respect?
Oakie Doke
The horrendous injury overshadowed the match and any result. It would have been emty even if we have won. Yep, as I said during the match, even if we had won it would have very much been a case of mixed emotions. The fact we lost just makes the feeling even worse, of course! Guest reefatoon
You can guarantee that the punishment would be worse if it was a Man Utd (or other top 4) player Exactly, imagine if it was the press' darling boy Gareth Bale. The player would be banned for life.
Doctor Zaius
Career ending tackle. As VI says, no immediate hospital suggests no break and he may have got away without anything horrific.
Guest
Career ending tackle. As VI says, no immediate hospital suggests no break and he may have got away without anything horrific. Or maybe we just want him home this time since HBA was a bit stranded on his own for a week when the same happened to him?
LRD
Fking assault to the knee man. That's one of the worse injuries you can get. Can potentially end the career of a very young footballer before it has even started. Essien got fked after his knees went.
Fuzzy
Career ending tackle. As VI says, no immediate hospital suggests no break and he may have got away without anything horrific. Also said they couldn't straighten it to fully assess, may be why there waiting until newcastle.
Super Duper Branko Strupar
I just can't fucking wait for this season to be over, man. Everything that happens horrendous.
captainhaircut
If you watch it, his leg doesn't bend the wrong way like in most of these horror challenges. Praying that its just tissue damage and he's got away with it.
LRD
If you watch it, his leg doesn't bend the wrong way like in most of these horror challenges. Praying that its just tissue damage and he's got away with it. It can still be damn bad even without the leg bending. We're talking about a weight-bearing joint, the part where the bones are connected. Once that loses significant ability to hold up the body it's game over. At least broken bones can heal or even strengthen the area without long-lasting implications.
Parky
Reminded me of that Keane - Haaland tackle.
Village Idiot
Cartilage damage is the deal-breaker. Bones heal, cartilage doesn't. Torres became s*** after losing cartilage tissue in his knee. Pretty sure it was ankle cartilage problems what ultimately forced Dean Ashton's retirement too. Anyway, just speculation.
NG32
I just can't f***ing wait for this season to be over, man. Everything that happens horrendous. I was just thinking this yesterday, pig fucking sick of this season.

Tooj
Look up bosvelt on irwin, closest I've seen to this horror show Remember that like and it was awful. Can anybody remember the tackle on John Jensen too?
Guest WhyAyeCabaye
Absolutely disgusting 'tackle'. It can't be defended, McManaman should face a lengthy ban.
Skeletor
What's worse is that he didn't show any remorse until Carver let him have it.
BillClinton
Can't fucking believe it. Perch gets a yellow for following through on a Wigan player, which was the same style tackle as Mcmanans just nowhere near as bad. Bullshit. Hope Massadio is ok. broony
Can he be retrospectively punnished? Did the ref make a note of the incident? Hope he doesn't get off on a bullshit technicality.
Parky
Can he be retrospectively punnished? Did the ref make a note of the incident? Hope he doesn't get off on a bullshit technicality. He said he hadn't seen it which might mean the fa can look at it.
Numbers
Wanker had a cocky swagger as he walked off too, looks like a fucking chav, hope he is on the receiving end himself at some point. Footballers dont make challenges like that, no excuse its not like hes slid in and miss timed it, it was intentional. Shove your half arsed appology, chav. Dave
Can he be retrospectively punnished? Did the ref make a note of the incident? Hope he doesn't get off on a bullshit technicality. Journos have been suggesting that he's said in his report that he didn't see it () - if that's the case then maybe the FA will look at it. Can't say I expect there to be any action like. And it wouldn't make me feel any better anyway.
