AlanSkÃrare
Mapou Yanga-M'Biwa: 23-year-old league-winning captain and French international to back-up right-back in a team that's conceded 127 goals in two seasons. Papiss Cissé: 22 goals in Bundesliga, second to only Mario Gomez in the scoring charts and the league's most effective striker, turned into an irrelveant right-winger without any technique, muscles or running-ability. Davide Santon: Champions League winner and Italian international as a teenager, turned into a security risk without any positional awareness, consistently forced to put in crosses with the wrong foot. Hatem Ben Arfa: Five-time French league winner, French international, wonderkid, hailed as the most talented of the 87' generation, frozen out from a team that scores in 1/3 games and behind Gabriel Obertan in the pecking order. Moussa Sissoko: Industrial box-to-box midfielder, Young Player of the Year in Ligue 1 in 2010, French international valued at €30m in 2010, turned into right-midfield target of missiles if not confused "modern number ten" with no ability to score goals. Yoan Gouffran: Quick, rather intelligent striker who scored 14 goals in Ligue 1 turned into pointless workhorse/extra full-back with no technique, movement or crossing-ability. What we have to look forward to: Remy Cabella: French international, scorer of 14 goals from midfield in mid-table Ligue 1 team, tbc. Siem De Jong: Ajax league winning captain, Dutch international who performed well in the Champions League, tbc. Daryl Janmaat: Dutch World Cup bronze-medal winner, tbc. Might end up being a big season inadvertently for Streete or Satka. God forbid Dummett plays their again. Going to be dropping approx £100k p/w on MYM, HBA and Jonas - outstanding management / guidance from the board.

At the end of the day, despite all of Mike Ashley's BS, I can't help but think he sees a loss here, like MANY of the players he's sanctioned. He's really only made money on a fraction of those we've sold off, right? Isn't / Shouldn't that AT LEAST be the one barometer of which he cares? On the average, high average, fuck it - majority of the players have all depreciated massively. So anyway, MYM the former captain of Montpellier - the budding future partner of Sakho/Varane and couldn't get a game here? He'll look great in a Roma shirt playing for a club that actually has real sporting ambitions. This club is truly a vehicle for Mike Ashley to pump his goods, employ some friends, and just "exist" - its the antithesis of sports, it has no purpose. It's disgusting man. John P
20% contribution from Roma - what's the point? Is this for real? This is the deal that just keeps on giving. Either pay us all of his wages or tell them where to go surely. So we'll be left with 3 centre halves, whilst also essentially paying Roma to have Mbiwa. Lovely stuff. TaylorJ_01
Pretty sure Mbiwa has done something to anger Pardew. This isn't how you treat someone unfavoured - it's how you treat someone you're trying to force out. Hopefully him and HBA kicked his ass.
