toon25
Chronicle's piece about massive payoffs - can't help but think it's a deliberate ploy from the club to scare supporters into acceptance of staying with Carver. Who'd be needing a massive payoff? Galtier or McLaren? Carver, Woodman and Stone - all contracted until 2020. Why the fuck would you contract Andy fucking Woodman for 8 years? Jesus. Guest taps01
Waiting until the summer for McClaren? I like McClaren, but that's just not good enough I'm afraid. Very underwhelming isnt it.
r0cafella
Waiting for a championship manager. Laughable stuff
steve_69
Isn't Pardew, isn't Carver, isn't Kinnear, plays decent football, has won some stuff. Not ideal but i wouldn't be too disappointed. However, if he gets Derby promoted I doubt he'll come
Chicane
Waiting five/six months for Steve McClaren. Christ. I don't hate the guy or anything but the only feeling that comes to mind is 'meh'. Literally nothing to be excited or look forward to with this club. Apparently Sherwood has said he isn't interested in the job btw (according to Easy Ryder on twitter just now)

The guy is just so embarrassing. Those clips of him throwing his coat around last season man. Just an absolute idiot. He's already turned his nose up at West Brom and Palace, so I don't know what the hell job he thinks he will get. He's a moron. No one wants the guy here anyway. Guest taps01
Emotional rollercoaster this like. We have gone from Garde to Charver to McClaren to De Boer in the matter of 24 hours. With another four months of this on the cards i might have to inflict a self imposed internet ban.
EthiGeordie
If we sign him up as pre contract and all. I am happy to wait. The talk is he is heading to Barca next season with a new president and all.
Guest ElCid
If he's actually interested, I'm willing to wait but it's a massive IF. He should be the number 1 choice but: 1. I don't think he would come and work for the corrupt cunts in charge - same goes for the 'other' manager reportedly in consideration 2. If for some reason one of these managers did want to work for these wankas, can we really wait until the Summer and massively put our Premiership status at risk with the idiot Carver in charge
St1pe
Given the stature of De Boer I just can't see him moving here. Garde and Tuchel are both young managers so it would make sense for them to take a certain element of risk and if they could have an impact like Pochettino did then they're instantly in a position where they'll be wanted by a few bigger clubs. De Boer is already at that level at what is he realistically going to achieve with us to get him to a massive club? It just seems like there would be too much of a risk on his part to damage his career rather than improving it.
