Darth Crooks
It's carvers man. What precedent have these twats set to suggest otherwise?

themanupstairs
What would you think of Bob Bradley? I know we're a cheap tatty club these days, but that's not even a footballing backwater dumpster I'd like to even think about.
Deuce
What would you think of Bob Bradley? I think quite highly of him. He's a decent manager and a person of genuine integrity. Not even remotely close to being PL-quality though.
henke
Such a lack of media speculation about this. Can't help but think we are being primed for Carver. I'd bet my left nut that Carvers in charge next season.

Ste
Nah, we'll appoint a manager. I've no worries about Carver continuing in this role going into next season.
Barnes23
Convinced it will be either Carver or McClaren.
Wallace
I know Ashley likes a gamble but surely appointing Carver would be too much of a risk. Even with their desire to do just enough, Carver has already shown against poor opposition that he can't even manage that. He hasn't got the crowd on his side (that must confuse the London media who believe only a Geordie is acceptable) so appointing him permanently would just cause more unrest. There is no guarantee that the lesser teams in the league will be as poor next year. Appointing Carver would be inviting a relegation battle from the off next season and although I think we will safe this season, it could still get a little bit uncomfortable especially once we get into that difficult run of fixtures. Disco
@lee_ryder 2m2 minutes ago Frank De Boer has just confirmed he will sign an 18 month extension to his deal at #ajax . Ending any slim hopes for #nufc to lure him to PL

Guest reefatoon
What are the Chronicle going to print on their back page now? He is probably looking on here for help. Cunt chops, how about these headlines: "De no Goer" "Frankly my dear I don't give an Amsterdam" "De Boer no more" "Ajax break the Bank for Frank, but he wouldn't have come anyway because we are wank" " I love John Carver to bits, he is my bestest friend"
Minhosa
5 things NUFC should do now De Boer is staying. 1. Appoint John Carver. He's a Geordie, don't you know? 2. Appoint AP's old Number 2. Apparently he knows SBR. 3. Appoints SBR's old Assistant. Apparently he knows Gary Speed. 4. Appoint Gary Speed's old Assistant Manager mate. He's impressed Mourinho. 5. Appoint some tool that Mourinho patronised and fucking laughed at behind his back. Even better if he's a Geordie.

Varadi
'Unimpressed with garde' aye but Pardew lasted nearly 4 seasons. That's been mentioned a few times now - I suspect the things they were most unimpressed with were that he would want to bring his own coaching staff and clearly has a mind of his own.
