LucaAltieri
Dragan Stoikovic from Nagoya Grampus Eight. Used to be a great player. Has now done wonders in Japan as a manager. Highly recommended by Wenger who has pointed him out as a possible Arsenal manager when they need a new one. Would be an extremely interesting move to bring him here. Played under Wenger in Japan, too. Generally considered to be his protege. Good coach but has been gash in director of football type roles.

AlanSkÃrare
We all know he'll be recommended by Kinnear. It'll be a British or Irish manager who has a long list of failures or a vacuum of 15 years on his CV.

Mole_Toonfan
Di Matteo's Chelsea didn't play good football like. Yeap, also their league form was pretty average. Both bollocks.....they were 4 points from top when hewas sacked. Hazard also played his best football by a million miles under Di Matteo and they played us and quite a few other teams off the park. Nah. They bored their way to the Champions League and were very unspectacular in the league the year we finished 5th.
Shays Given Tim Flowers
Di Matteo's West Brom in the championship played better stuff than we did at the time.
mrmojorisin75
That has David O'dreary all over it that. here, not the right thread but does anyone know the inside track on o'leary? why was he really binned from leeds? assume it was mainly the book he wrote seem to recall brummie fucking hates him, what did he do at villa other than being shite? me and a lad at work were talking about it the other day and we couldn't put our finger on how he became such a pariah in the game
Deuce
Worrying about us playing "good football," come on. RDM was 40W-19D-24L with West Brom and 24W-9D-9L with Chelsea, including 2 pieces of silverware. The guy clearly knows how to win football games. TRon
I can't say that I've ever been a massive Di Matteo fan, but compared to Pardew he's like Pep Guardiola. His teams had shape and passed it about quite well for a start. Similar to Poyet, really, nothing mind-blowingly exciting, but I think there's merit in not being completely clueless about these things. With our budget these are the type of managers we could get that might well be able to work with the type of players we are recruiting.
