KaKa
Hull at home will certainly be interesting. Dropping Cisse by the way, doesn't mean he's done forever. Will probably take a bit of pressure off him too. Bringing him off the bench late when everyone is tired, and he's fresh, might help him get the all important first goal he needs, and he can then push on from there. It's not a death sentence or anything.
BrettNUFC
I understand people's reservations about Cisse, but I wouldn't move Remy from the left right now. For the Hull game, stick with the same team and hopefully Cisse will end up with a couple of goals to give him a boost. I think on balance it would be the wrong time to drop him. The College Dropout
What's Cisse's record in 2013 in the league? 20 games, 4 goals - no?
Dan Gleebals
Would like to see Gouffran start in the middle. Most defences would not like the pace and movement of HBA, Remy and Gouffran coming at them. PS, think Cisse could do with a break. Bring him on when we are winning and all over them - tap in/spectacular to get him back on the road again.

Form is temporary and class is permanent. The Cisse that was capable of that blistering start is more than capable of turning around a rough run in a poorly performing side. With the addition of Remy, hopefully the longer term fitness of HBA and the new look system, he can turn the corner.
healthyaddiction
What's Cisse's record in 2013 in the league? 20 games, 4 goals - no? 22 games, 5 goals I think. Goals against Everton, Villa, Southampton, Stoke and Fulham. edit - we've actually only scored 22 goals in that entire time as well. I think more than anything there is a problem with scoring and creating in the whole team. Though 1 in 4 is obviously not good enough for the main striker. Guest
Gouffran has done far better "out of position" out wide than either of Cisse & Ba did in their time out there. Would be interesting to see Gouffran get a run of games at centre-forward.

Dr.Spaceman
Really good sub to have. Don't think he's the poacher or finisher Cisse is but he keeps it simple, direct and positive and grafts his 'nads off.

Yorkie
Really, really like Gouffran. Had no doubt he was capable of that sort of goal. If he can improve his instincts inside the box we'll have a player who's capable of getting 15 goals for us, imo. But he needs to usurp Cisse from that starting line-up. Which won't happen now cos, in fairness to Papiss, although his general play was shite - he did bag one.
KaKa
His holding off of the defender, and then the touch to create space for his goal, was the kind of thing we need from Cisse, but he can't give us that. Its irritating.
Mole_Toonfan
Cisse is a better finisher and likely always will be.... Gouffran is a better all round player though IMO. Fantastic goal though, hopefully many more to come.

Mole_Toonfan
4 league goals in 2013 Cisse is the superior finisher aye. That's more due to the fact Cisse's movement is shit nowadays and never gets into the position to score and if he does its rare.

He always encourages me to shoot so I wanted to go to him and say thanks for believing in me." Does anyone dislike Bigi?

I think Bigi is going to become a very decent player, in my opinion he has already shown that he should be ahead of Tiote in the line up and should be pressuring Anita for his place in this coming season.
