Bimpy474
The best way to take the pressure off the LB is by putting a genuine attacking threat in front of him. We just don't have one. Aye and Atsu and Sammy being the options, Atsu offers more going forward and still works back. Still can't work out why Gouffran starts ahead of him. I mean it's not like Gouffran offer that much more defensively is it.
joeyt
Atsu's had plenty of opportunities to make the position his own but he hasn't taken them. We'd be a much more balanced team with a natural left winger in our team

We'd be a much more balanced team with a natural left winger in our team I'd still say he's offered much more than Gouffran, but we do need a wide player which should have been bought in January just like Rafa wanted and asked for. An attacking FB on that side would make a huge difference to our balance.
Guest neesy111
A better LW will help Dummett, but you can't legislate how bad he is on the ball even when he has some time on it (re Dummett).
huss9
fucking myth that he offers more defensive cover. was more of a hindrance today.

ponsaelius
He's made a mint out of his career despite not being able to play football, I'm sure he doesn't need 'luck'.

Stifler
One of the players who got us relegated last season, why we didn't tell him to fuck off in the summer is beyond me. How he's still getting game time is another mistery.

Teasy
Still better than a lot of the shit that played against Ipswich, he actually tries which is a fucking start like. Not good enough though I agree there.

afar
For me he has moved from a player I actively hated last season to someone who hopefully if common sense prevails leaves this summer with my best wishes. Whatever division we are playing in Gouf's time with us needs to come to an end.

Whatever division we are playing in Gouf's time with us needs to come to an end. Me as well. Chipped in with goals in the earlier part of the season including a quality one at Derby and an almost goal of the season if it went in against Brighton at home but he needs to move on. SEMTEX
Had hopes he'd be able to contribute more than he has this season. Believed he deserved a chance after his good start for us, followed by being Pardewed. Probably deserved more of a chance up front at some point this season. Either way, he's done. No great feelings either way.

Newcastle Fan
He started off well but was awful for too long, he did play a big part in our promotion campaign so he can leave us on a high.
Guest firetotheworks
I've never hated as much as others do, like, I have to admit. A nothing player where he's been played, and not much better up front, but I never really had him in the same bracket as other players that have stood out as holding us back. Happy that we're looking to improve though, at best he's been a nothing player really.
Away Day Gadgie
Really liked him when he first signed. His forward movement was really good, he chipped in with a few goals and didn't mind doing the donkey work either. Then he got Pardewed and looked like he didn't give a fuck any more. This season has gone a similar way i think, once he realised he wasn't getting a new deal he started going through the motions. Decent player when he wants to be but not good enough if we want to move forward. I wish him well!

If only the shot that hit the bar vs Brighton at home went in, what a strike that was Time he went though.
Ronaldo
From his debut against Villa it was clear he couldn't and/or wouldn't take players on. Bit of a fucking glaring weakness for a player mostly identified with a wide attacking role. Awful excuse for a footballer, especially since his pace went.
