NG32
Wigan have it all to play for now.
Foluwashola
These people that are saying that 'nothing has changed' after losing a +10 goal difference in one round of games are both stupid and annoying. Nothing's changed in so much as we need the same points to stay up that we needed at 8pm. Wigan's game against Swansea is far more important than tonight's game. Well that's not right is it? If we'd finished on the same amount of points as Villa and stayed up on goal difference. Huge difference. Psychologically it's gargantuan. Wigan are going down though. So yes, the difference is minimal.
Guest Dontooner
well they have good experience with battles like that and Pardew has good experience with battles like that as well....Oh Wait...
Guest ItalianMagpie
Guess we just have to hope Wigan don't pick up any more points. They're playing Swansea at home

AyeDubbleYoo
Can we simulate the rest of the games so we can fucking relax?
Si
Relying on Villa and the Mackems to help you out is like asking Jimmy Saville to look after the kids for an hour - fucking risky.
ElDiablo
Teams/fans will want to see us go down instead of Wigan, no doubt about it. Wouldn't be surprised if West Ham/QPR come out motivated with the incentive of trying to relegate us. I'm already mentally preparing for the drop now. I suggest everyone else does the same! huss9
At least our next game isn't against a team containing ex-players with a point to prove. Oh, wait.... nah that won't be a problem. a problem would be if they had an ex-manager of ours who ruined any reputation he had and got sacked. oh, wait.... binnsy
Wigan win two were done. Wigan have been playing really well and were unlucky against Man City, Spurs and West Ham. If anybody thinks we're safe they should be certified. could be a good thing in a way though as can't be doing there confidence much good that they keep playing well but fail to get the win. Wullie
Sylla completely bossed the midfield for Villa - they just bought him from Ligue 2. Meanwhile we've got two of France's regular starting midfielders. Honestly man.
Gallowgate Toon
What you talking about, Wullie?! There can't be a Frenchman in a relegation threatened team, they'd just give up because that's what the French do.

With one attacker to pass to, what a shambles. Have no idea why he was the furthest man back for that second goal on the weekend though. Perch and Tiote stood near the box, while our playmaker is back with the centre halves. Just what is going on?
