I actually deposited money to my empty bet365 account for the sole purpose of betting on Ba to score, since it's inevitable  :(

(It might also work as some kind of anti-jinx, since him now scoring will get me money, Cosmos will now be confused and won't know whether to let him score or not)

Nah, the Cosmos will work round it by just making him produce an amazing assist for the winner.

Just the same team as Villa, with Anita and MYM for Taylor and Jonas.

No idea what will actually happen.

I'd like that as well.  Doubt it'll happen though.

Same starting team as Villa without putting square pegs into round holes when the "cowardly frightened of losing mode" is switched on.

Jonas shouldn't play and Taylor was way off the pace last night. It would be too dangerous to play either of them in my opinion.

Does anyone know why Marveaux wasn't even on the bench against Villa? If we are going to really 'attack them' as Pardew put it, then he must start!

Also after last nights performance, Taylor will start ahead of Mbiwa. It's possible Mbiwa will go into defensive midfield, but Pardew has said it is clear to him that he is a CB or RB - he only really put him on because of the physicality of Villa in the second half, a move which paid off with an impressive tackle in the 6 yard box.

Jonas needs to be on the bench, especially with Chelsea's mobility in midfield (and his shocking performances all season) - so Anita is a must to start as his work rate is fantastic. Cabaye was defensive midfield against Villa, and from what I gather Sissoko is an attacking midfielder (at least that's what Pardew set him as). I thought Sissoko did excellently defending and attacking before he ran out of steam. I'd put him as defensive, but I think Pardew will put Cabaye as defensive again.

Debuchy                  Taylor                                      Colo                            Santon

                                        Cabaye                      Anita

Marveaux                                        Sissoko                                            Gouffran

                                                        Cisse

Mbiwa will come on as sub again, to replace Perch (who is absent from my starting lineup).

I thought Taylor was poor tbh, Benteke had his way with him in the air and if he controlled the better then he did we could have been punished.

As for Marveaux he's injured, which is very unfortunate.

A point would be a good result, I just hope we don't go out there specifically trying to get it. We're at home, give it a go. Last season we lost 3-0 and Chelsea could have had a hatful. The players were applauded off.

:giggs: of the week

Has no return date on Physioroom.com - hopefully it's just a knock.

Just a joke man, yesterday people asked where Marv was from before the match when squads were announced, to after it was noted that he had to pull out b/c of a knock, to after the match up until Pards said he had a knock and would be out for 2-3 weeks.

Didnt Chelsea score their 2nd and 3rd when Colo and Taylor were fucked with injuries and we'd used our 3 subs already.

Sturridge was class, but Luiz should never have been on the pitch.

Think Chelsea are beatable this weekend, lot of shite results recently. But, Ba will score.
