Andranik's a good one.

He was mint for Bolton for about six months, around the same time Tamir Cohen (there's another one!) was in their side and doing well... then they released Cohen and packed Andranik off to Fulham where he basically never played, fuck knows where he went after that.

EDIT: On loan to Barnsley  then to Tractor Sazi and Esteghlal Iran and he's currently at Al-Kharaitiyat in Qatar earning a mint.

Aaahh, a total CM legend.

Tonton Zola Moukoko

http://www.manutd.nl/fm2007/legendes/tonton.jpg

Moukoko joined Derby County as a 15-year-old[1] and featured in the 1999–00 FA Youth Cup.[6] When he signed a professional contract upon turning 17 in December 2000, it was reported that he turned down a competing offer from AC Milan.[7] With Moukoko playing in the youths and reserves at Derby it was thought likely by fans[8] and Moukoko himself[1] that he would break into the first team. Tonton along with Lee Camp and Gareth McKeown teamed up with their Derby County youth team coaches Alex Penny and Will Royal to appear in Goalkeeping Essentials [1] However, early in the 2002–03 season[9] he returned to Sweden after suffering family problems[2] and falling out with club management over his study arrangements.[1]

Moukoko trained with Hammarby IF[10] and then spent summer 2003 on trial with Falkirk FC. After he scored in a 3-0 pre-season friendly win over Queen's Park FC on 7 July 2003, the Scottish club's manager John Hughes was reported to have said: "I thought Ton Ton [sic] was brilliant, absolutely brilliant, if you had caught him in training the other day, you couldn't kick his backside, and he's a flying machine. Ton Ton [sic] lightens the place up, he is a great wee smiler and takes pelters from the boys for his hairstyles, but he is a really good kid."[11]

[edit]Return to Sweden

England manager Sven-Göran Eriksson and his assistant Tord Grip helped Moukoko to get a contract with Carlstad United BK in the Swedish football Division 2.[1][2] After a period of inactivity, he then signed a two year contract with IK Sleipner ahead of the 2007 season.[2] After the two years Moukoko began the 2009 season with Syrianska KF in Norrköping.[10]

[edit]Atlantis FC

Moukoko moved to the Finnish club Atlantis FC during the 2009 season.[10] He played in 10 games and failed to score as the club were relegated from the Ykkönen.[

He trained with my team a couple of weeks ago. I have no idea how he was as I of course fainted the moment I understood it was him.

Flash pony with no substance irl, very disappointing.

Edson Rolando Silva Sousa (pictured here in a friendly against Nottingham Forest) was signed by Frank Arnesen for PSV after impressing for the Portugese youth team. This Cape Verdian who started out in Switzerland played 1 game for PSV before leaving to join Spurs aged 21 in 2004. He left less than a year later having never left the bench bar a loan spell at Ado Den Haag where he scored three times in seven games. Upon his release from Spurs he played for Egyptian club Zamalek, then CS Maratimo and Estrala in Portugal before leaving for Romania in 2007, first for UTA Arad and then Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt via a trial in Finland with TPS.

Hossam Ghaly.

In July 2007, he was set to move to Birmingham City for a fee of £3 million (subject to work permit approval).[7] However, on August 3, Birmingham announced they would not be completing the deal after Ghaly objected to the training methods employed by manager [steve Bruce].[8]

Forgot about this.

Ali Benarbia. Hit the post against us in 2002.

 Tickled me, that. Sounds like a serious claim to fame!

I'll go for Svetoslav Todorov. Quite good for Portsmouth before injuries derailed him. Think he's somewhere in Ukraine now.

Marco Negri

http://news.bbc.co.uk/olmedia/815000/images/_817288_negri_300.jpg

Marco Negri was bought by Rangers for 3.5 million and scored 23 league goals in his first 10 games.  Apparently he didn't really celebrate his goals and just shook people by the hand.

Sergio Porrini then hit him in the eye with a squash ball and he got some flesh eating bug and pneumonia.  Then retired.

That deserves to be on the front page tbh

Will do another update soon  not sure what the purpose is other than organisational satisfaction. Guess it provides a fun read for any newcomers.
