AyeDubbleYoo
I would never see the match if there was 5.5 hours drinking before it.
Pilko
I plan on having at least four pints down me before kickoff. I had to watch the reverse fixture sober as I had work a few hours after it and it was fucking grim.
Wilson
It'll be about 9:30 for me, not as hardcore as these half 6ers.
aussiemag
Game is on at a sweet 7pm here. Finish my football at 5pm, unsure whether to go watch it at a supporters bar, or catch it at home.
Al Moody
I love the early starts on derby day. Before the away leg this season I was in Weatherspoons by 9ish getting my breakfast and beers.

Aye, we were stood outside the Strawberry at about 9. Year before I was sat next the foyer up from the academy with my cans of stella classy.
MKSC
My coach gets in to town at 6am. If anyone can recommend anywhere to go for a couple of hours I'd be grateful, not too far out of town mind, my knowledge of the outskirts of Newcastle is limited to places I have been for NOFC games and the hotels I have stayed in. Pretty sure I'll be having breakfast in Union Rooms at 9am though.

TBG
What's the earliest that pubs in town will be open on Sunday? 9? The black garter is normally 6am iirc. Wetherspoons make you buy toast with a drink till 11 or summit like that. Does the Black Garter have Coco Pops
Rich
Can't see Taylor actually being fit to play, he was just back in training from Monday. Suppose the rest all have a chance, with Colo being most unlikely you'd think.

Can you just stroll in there anyway, don't need to be a member or anything?

Jill
A lass at work asked what time I was going out and I said 9am (always the target but the actual chances of us making it into town by then is slim this year with a 40 minute bus journey) and she was horrified. I'm going to point her in the direction of this thread since now I think she has me pegged as an alcoholic.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
I have a mate out in Australia. For some reason I'm notified he liked "Aussie Mags"'s post on facebook. FWIW any Mags in Wollongong, there's a meet to see the derby. Not sure how far it is from the Wolumbaloo Dirt Monument though.
