Why not? nufc.co.uk lists the backroom staff as: John Carver, Steve Stone, Peter Beardsley, Andy Woodman, William Donachie, Joe Joyce, Dave Watson, Chris Terpcou. Who amongst them would be sacked as well? Next, who would take the opportunity to walk? Then, you take what's left, and put him/them up against Ashley's mate - I've gotta know what gives you this faith. Unless there's someone lined up, then surely JFK is the man, if only in the interim. I think you're right, and it's Pardew who set us up the defence. Part of the reason i think he's utter rubbish obviously. I don't think we need an Allardycesque backroom but at the moment we've got nobody. In the modern game you really need to bring in specialists. Absolutely. We have nowhere near enough first team coaching, we have precisely, Pardew, Carver and Stone (who Pardew said wouldn't be as involved with the 1st as last season). And Woodman for the GK's.
