Superior Acuña
Bewildering that anyone would pay for the ramblings of an old Scottish drunk. If an old Scottish drunk can achieve what he has, god help young, sober, non-Scots.
Mr. Snrub
Lampard's goals and asssists over the past 10 years speaks for itself. He has been one of the most important figures in Chelsea's most successful ever period. For the job Lampard does in his position, score and create goals, their hasn't been anyone better in Europe. Gerrard has been absolutely inspiration and has single handedly won them the The FA Cup and dragged them back to win the CL. He has also been one of their most important figures in winning other trophies and rightly regarded as one of Liverpool's greatest ever players. They are rightly criticised for their roles in their international career, but they have no way been over rated in this country. 2 of the finest midfielders the country has ever seen. Pixelphish
Lampard isn't rated because he isn't fashionable, as others have said, his record says everything you need to know as far as i'm concerned.

Agreed, although Gerrard for me is or wasn't at the level of Lampard who for me has been one of the very best midfielders in the world over the span of his career. Certainly as an attacking midfielder there hasn't been many better. Scholes pisses on both talent wise though, quite simply the best natural all-rounder we've produced since Gazza. Don't think a player with so much deficiencies in the defensive side of his game, can be called an all rounder. It's no shame though, Pirlo was the same but always had Gattuso to protect and cover for him. Just think all-rounder is the wrong word to describe Scholes. He was an offensive midfielder/forward, tackling isn't a requirement. As an offensive midfielder/forward he had it all. Shearer lacked pace and flair but there was no denying he was an all-rounder of a centre-forward.
