Looking back at all the top midfielders who have played in the PL, I think Yaya Toure on his day is as good as any of them. Another player who was also very good in his day was Gilberto for Arsenal. I personally believe he was better than Vieira. Silva wasn't better than Vieira. Silva was a more defensive player than Vieira and especially Toure. First of all him trying to claim that people will remember Fergie more now for "his bitterness in this book" than his accomplishments is a load of absolute bollocks. Second, him going on about the class and history of Liverpool and how Fergie comes across as bitter because "he resented chasing them for so many years" I know he's trying to suck up to the scousers but get over yourself Brendan.
