Cajun
Probably couldn't handle the pressure. Don't blame him tbf, as much as I will give footballers shit it must be a fucking hard job at times for some.
Guest Haris Vuckic
Well it's all relative I suppose - he wont react to the money or attention like you or I would & his ego would've been fairly extreme, So to go from a precocious star with so much ahead of him to a Doctor telling you not to bother must hurt like hell. Brian Clough had the same bother after injury I wouldn't be surprised if injury was the same catalyst that kicked off Garrincha/Gazza's (91 cup final) alcoholism. It's a lot to cope with for anybody. Yep, I remember Ian Botham getting Gazza pissed on Advocaat on a QOS circa 89 and pre injury. Not the kind of tipple to get a fully fledged alcoholic pissed and suggests more a teetotal lifestyle. Incognito
Different kinds of drinking That's what I said. I was agreeing with you about injury being the catalyst for Gazza's drink problem seeing as a couple of years before it, Advocaat was getting him pissed. Jordan
https://soundcloud.com/the-game-podcast/the-game-live-from-newcastle Steve Harper on this. Spoke on dressing room. This is from Twitter. Haven't listened myself. Ben @BonjourMonAmiNE 13m @ChrisLambert10 Said that new players struggled last season - dressing room was very split. Likes of Tiote believed their own hype too. Really enjoyed that. Harps talking about 4-4 game with Arsenal and the elbow drop

healthyaddiction
Pulis confirmed. Haha What on earth are they thinking? I suppose grim attempt to stay in league through lots of kicking Do they even have the players for that?
Tiresias
To be fair they don't even have the players to do anything. Better to sign a manager who will get them back up from the championship, once down Pulis won't bring you up imo
newsted
Apparently I was watching Sports Net Ontario today. They have Daniele Dichio as an expert. I mean, a former mackem who famously is unable to pronounce his own name? Is Canada OK? I always thought Canada was OK, but I am worried now. Canada, why have you done this? Can I help? Ameritoon
He played for Toronto and is part of their setup in some capacity now, probably the easiest former European pro they could get
