The unusual alteration to the squad's numbers is part of a national initiative aiming to improve Romanian children's interest in maths.

The school dropout rate in Romania, 18% in 2014, is currently one of the highest in the European Union.

I mean I love a bit of maths porn but it seems a massive stretch to suggest that seeing "7-3" on the back of a football shirt = stay in school.

On number 2: "Martina is only the second player from the Caribbean island to play in the Premier League, after West Brom's Shelton Martis."

Definitely not correct at all, but I guess they're just referring to Curacao national team members, which I wasn't even sure existed.
