Disco
English teams should do what German teams do and go in unison to applaud the fans at the end of the game instead of sloping off as quickly as possible in many cases. Particularly away from home, it's not a big ask and it shows a bit of (even it's faux) respect. http://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/images/69350000/jpg/_69350731_dortmund_bongarts.jpg
Village Idiot
Spanish teams often do it at home (we do), would love it if they started doing it away though. Think it's a class gesture to applaud the fans of your opposition.

henke
Gary Neville always applauded us after our annual humping at old trafford, even when most of our own players couldn't be arsed.

PCW1983
Cant help but laugh at the footage of the 4th official at the Chelsea v Hull game, SSN are showing the moment when the goal detection system was used and the fourth official is showing every man and his dog his sexy new watch. Reminds me of the moment when my dad realised that his "new iPhone" (really 2 years old) would tell him what the weather is like, he spent weeks telling people what the weather was like where they were. Jack Flash
Written into the England winger’s deal is a clause stating that Arsenal must pay Saints £10,000 every time Oxlade-Chamberlain appears for more than 20 minutes. Incredibly a trend emerged, with Wenger bringing him off the bench after 72 minutes (v Stoke), 73 minutes (Liverpool), 72 minutes (Coventry), 65 minutes (Norwich), 76 minutes (Fulham), 86 minutes (Tottenham), 67 minutes (Swansea), 73 minutes (West Ham), 71 minutes (Swansea), and 75 minutes (Reading). Arsenal’s accounts department were stunned to receive an email from Southampton demanding payment for the appearances, with the south coast club justifying their argument based on stoppage time. Eventually Arsenal agreed to pay for the appearances and the story worked its way around the offices at the Emirates with bafflement among staff. Strange if true and not giggs. TheHoob
Very strange clause to put in a contract if true, especially of Oxlade-Chamberlain knew about it as it would hinder his development hugely. That said those times aren't exactly out of the ordinary for a subs to be made.

As if a provision for injury time wouldn't be incorporated into the contract.
