Still Not Worthy Of A Thread

I’ve just been at SoccerAid and Mourinho says that he is glad Newcastle are down because he’s never won against them yet.

When I was there, he said to me about Newcastle: ‘The support whenever they play my teams, they’re so behind their team and the fans are unbelievable and it makes it so difficult for away teams.’

It seemed like he was happy he wouldn’t have to worry about going to St James’ Park next year!

When Mourinho’s saying he’s glad you’re down because he worries about visiting St James’ Park, then that tells you all you need to know about how amazing it is to play for Newcastle when things are going well.

When everyone’s on side and on board, there’s no place like it to play.

- Kieron Dyer

Where's that from?

And, aye, hard to be pissed off by that

I'm sure the England fans didn't provoke them.

Read somewhere else it was local youth. Wonder which one is true. Don't understand how fans of most countries can go a whole tournament without trouble whilst other can't.

Barça have settled with the Spanish taxman re: the Neymar signing tax fraud. Barça will pay €5m and the prosecution will withdraw criminal charges.

This should also wind down the other Neymar court case, since the settlement means the €40m sign-on bonus we paid Neymar is considered a wage and not a transfer fee. Neymar had been sued by former part-owners DIS claiming that they were entitled to part of that bonus.

Why is it that this kind of thing still happens in with England in international football, but is almost completely eradicated at club level ? So strange, I genuinely thought modern day England fans knew how to behave. So sad.

De Gea, Munain and an unrevealed Spanish footballer involved in the investigation of a prostitution and women trafficking ring. Apparently De Gea would have hired the services of an infamous Spanish porn impresario in 2012 to procure girls for Muniain and the other footballer. De Gea wasn't present during the encounter, and the women were allegedly raped. One of the girls is now in protective custody and has allegedly testified against them, and apparently there's proof (calls and whatsapp activity) that would back up her story.

All our media - including the serious one - is carrying the story, so it's likely true.
