The College Dropout
They'll stay up and beat us. I don't care about anything else.
The College Dropout
He's brought in some absolute crap though. Scocco, Buckley, Coates and Bridcutt spring to mind but Alvarez(no doubt a good player in another league) and Vergini have been pretty poor too This is true. Recruitment has been awful. When you sign Championship players, you become a Championship team. However, the times I've watched them they've looked alright as far as playing football. Their style of football is a hell of a lot more attractive than the s*** we play tbh. No it's not. They rarely score. Sideways passes to fuck. Awful to watch. Robster
Fuck me. Seeing Sunderland struggle as well was the one ray of sunshine in following football these days. Now they've ruined that by daring to try to improve. Everything is totally shit forever.
taxfree
Derby loss for us again then. They would have beaten us with Poyet anyway.
taxfree
Weird time to sack him though, as they'll have to wait for the summer to sign a new one.
Peppe
ffs It's probably in every managers contract over there: "Oh, and you'll get sacked before our home game against the Mags because we want the new-manager-bounce." They don't need no bounce to beat us though.

NG32
f*** me. Seeing Sunderland struggle as well was the one ray of sunshine in following football these days. their relegation is the only thing we can win. That sounds like a tag line for a bad movie. midds
Wasn't Poyet one of the names in the frame when Pardew was under pressure a while back? Now out of contract and available to start pretty much immediately?
Mike
Very good chance they'll appoint a much more competent manager than we ever will. Of course.

The College Dropout
If they ever want long-term success they need to stick a with a manager. I honestly believe a decent Sunderland finishing above us year after year would increase the pressure on the club. Being NETD despite losing twice to them is enough for a lot of our fans I think. NG32
A decent sunderland side finishing above us and doing well themselves would cause an initial uproar but then the media guru will kick start a campaign saying we are expecting to much. Eventually people will buy it hook line and sinker.
afar
Watch them appoint Remi Garde or someone else that we found impossible to bring in mid season.

The College Dropout
To be fair - last week on Soccer Saturday they didn't come out with the usual tripe about us. Blamed the board for a lack of ambition. Side we deserved to dream and hope at the very least. Bemoaned the lack of run in the FA Cup. But the (paying) fans can barely muster any anguish. Stray Mackem
And the circus continues. It's such a f**king car crash of a club that I've finally lost the ability to care. I've been desensitised to the point of almost complete apathy. :'(
