I can just picture this fella - funny little accent, cap and a tracksuit. Any club whose fans invade the pitch because they made it to a cup semi final is small time, hull are small time and your chairmans right hopefully you'll die quickly.

Oh and fuck off

Lovely stuff said without a hint of irony.

Is it Bolton who call the mackems "Deluded FC" on their board?

Love this pretence they keep up that they're some of the most respected fans in the country and everyone else hates the mags just as much as they do.

I haven't seen any City fans saying how great Wigan were yesterday either, no letter of thanks to the supporters or phone ins awash with gratitude for the way Wigan behaved themselves.  Wonder why....................

Little Sunderland delighted at the pat on the head from the cup winners and so delighted were they that they had been recognised for something other than hating Newcastle they decided to have street parties.

in the same vein:

They beggar belief they really do.

One day they will step out of our shadow and have no need for such displays of botheredness.

That's us he's on about by the way. In their shadow.

One leygue cup final and an FA Cup quarter and these lot think they're the Real Madrid of the north or summat...

What is it with the names they have for things/players man? Wembo, Bardo etc

The British Eurovision entry of 1982 was by a duo called Bardo. If you look them up,  the title of the song is quite ironic to how they got on yesterday in regard to Wembo.

What is it with this lot? Another excellent chance of getting to Europe and they've blown it once more. They only had to beat Millwall a few years back to make it and typically failed. I was sure they'd at least have another Wembley day out. Poyet has effectively thrown the game by leaving Johnson and borini out.

So no more Wembley and no European adventure.  They might get a trip to the Orient, if Leyton Orient go up that is. Cheesy chips in the championship hopefully.
