robbo_11
Lazio linked with Thauvin for €10-12 in Corriere alongside Valencia, Spurs and us with an expectation of news in the next 48 hours.
STM
It's not the time scale that's the problem. It's our incompetent managing director and the directive to save as much money as possible.

No chance we will ever pay that much after missing out on him for a quarter of that at most.
Jayson
We've a managing director whos decided not to bother in cups, so we'd not get injuries for the premier league. Ignoring the potential risks of discouraging an entire fan base, demoralizing everyone around the club, having players who see us only as a stepping stone & pressure on absolutely everybody. But we might have saved an injury. Hey Pards has left, lets not bother with a manager for half a season, what could go wrong. OH nearly relegated. These people are in charge of working out the risks of not acting quickly & making decisions that would appease a discouraged fanbase. Honestly step one would be get Charlie Austin. A proper potential England number 9 at Newcastle as cliche as it is, could not be a more obvious right decision.

I know 15mil is steep for a player in the late stages of a contract but it would just give everyone involved in the club a huge lift. If we're still fucking around after the weeks go by I doubt we're gonna be grateful we didnt fork out the extra 6 mil QPR want.
Guest Alexinho
At least they/we should have a plan A and try to go for it. Don't wait until everbody Else is finished shopping and pick up the leftovers as usual...

BONTEMPI
If people think we're going to change policy then think again. I bet Charnley put out the feelers for Austin and got some sort of positive response from his agent about coming. Then contacted the Mirror giving the impression "look at me! Aren't I doing well" vibe. When it comes to crunch time, this little prick will come up well short yet again.
nufc4eva
I'm personally sick of us looking at players or monitoring players. We need to try actually buying the fuckers. It's as if we just start looking after season despite apparently scouting all the time

Ikon
yeah but it will probably be like this for many many more hours. Once something finally happens and we think we're close the news of haggling haggling fucking comes like an avalanche and someone else moves in and signs the player for a few £ more. Must use the money wisely
Ikon
Even though nothing will change to the degree i/we want i'm still wasting my fucking time following stuff everywhere Why am i doing this to myself. I was away for a couple of months during last season and didn't spend any time at all following Newcastle. God i felt so good and positive every day! AyeDubbleYoo
Can't believe anyone pays attention to transfer rumours now, until the player is pictured holding up our shirt. And this is coming from me, the most naive person around.

Noodles
The fact they are even considering loans is a total joke imo "£70m war chest" "I will invest" Gets Jesse Lingard on loan Why am I not fucking surprised - of course it also makes perfect sense to bring in the majority of last seasons Derby side that failed to gain promotion. Sure fire recipe for capturing that elusive trophy.
KaKa
Players like Ince and Lindegaard would be good young talents for the squad. Certainly more useful than the likes of Sammy and Armstrong.

One of our targets has already gone to Southampton. It's depressingly predictable. Fuck this noise man. I think I already hate McLaren more than is humanly possible because he's bought into this shit.
