NUFC transfer rumours in the press

Recommended Posts

Using http://www.nufc.com/2013-14html/squad.html and looking at our squad, the following NUFC players are out of contract in Summer 2014: -

Loic Remy (Loan)

Dan Gosling

Shola Ameobi

Conor Newton

Remie Streete

Steven Logan

Michael Richardson

The following players NUFC contracts end in Summer 2015: -

Ryan Taylor

Jonas Gutierrez

Samuel Ameobi

James Tavernier

Jak Alnwick

We know Mike Ashley likes to get a fee for players when they are coming to the end of their contract and NUFC don't want to keep them.

The following players are currently loaned out to other clubs: -

James Tavernier

Haris Vuckic

Shane Ferguson

Dan Gosling

Michael Richardson

Conor Newton

Romain Amalfitano

Mehdi Abeid

Adam Campbell

There's a good few of those who will never make it into our first team. I'm sure NUFC would be happy to sell most of them.

NUFC are going to have to go shopping for players in the next two transfer windows to make up for the players who will leave or who NUFC want to try to move on.

He's cleverer than Joey Barton basically.

He knows there's a chance he could end up back there if they refuse to sell and so he doesn't want to look stupid saying "I will never play for QPR again" then 8 months later he's playing for QPR again.

or his agent is clever enough to know that some higher payers than us might well be along

So basically everyone in a top flight league?

Lee Ryder writes as if three months on the bench is less than justified.

I see no point in a loan deal anyway. There's every chance he fails to impress in the 5 months and worse, comes back to us injured. It should be a permanent deal if any club wants him and only if we find a suitable replacement.

Unless we buy a striker in the window then Cisse is still a key player for us. Shola's had his two good games for this season and other teams will quickly adapt if we push the long ball experiment too often.

Never quite got my head around the winter window not being the best time to get players in. Player with 6 months left on their contracts, the winter window seems the perfect time for a buying club. The seller only has this chance to get anything for them.  :dontknow:
