The Managerial Merry Go Round™ – Dyche leaves Everton

Recommended Posts

Considering ?? Should this not be sorted before you sack a manager ? It's like getting rid of your perfectly good car and getting the bus for a few weeks before you start looking for a new one.

This will backfire, never return back to your former employer, things won't be the same.

Seemed to work canny well for Moyes at West Ham.

I mean he won them a European trophy and saw them qualify for Europe for a few seasons too, which in my lifetime is a fair over achievement for them.

SIR Gareth Southgate relegating Everton would be too fucking sweet [emoji38]

Shit like that never happens to me

We don't get proven right. Plus he will expect to join a top club. Still annoyed Man United didn't hire him but even with him they probably wouldn't be much worse off.

Everton need a leader, someone who really knows the city, a winner. Bring. Him. Home.

Actually think Moyes is a decent appointment sadly. Definitely one of the better of the dinosaur managers.

Only thing giving me hope is how bad he was for the Mackems. They hate him. Hopefully just as bad for the Scouse mackems.

New owners are American, so no matter what happens it won't be best for the club....either a PFM or 'club legend' or someone totally left field who hasn't got a clue from one of their other clubs

Only cos the porn kings hate having to do pay offs to managers...put Potter in place hoping Lopetegui would be so pissed off he'd quit rather than pay him

Feels like they just copied that move from their Roma ownership. Bring in a guy with an emotional connection to the club but who is questionably qualified to take them forward. Moyes isn’t a bad manager but I think the games moved on.

Moyes 2-year deal at Everton.

Perfect. 2 years of guaranteed mediocrity means they won't be any threat to us for a while.

Don't think mid-to-long term its a game changer for Everton at all, but for Moyes himself it's a decent gig. He'll keep them up, probably have a little bit more to spend (I assume) with the new owners, and take them into the new stadium next year.
