GeordieDazzler
It’s still the same crap squad that Dyche had and he’d already made them defensively solid. Broja got stretchered off last night so likely DCL who’s off at the end of the season and Beto up front. They are very much still in the relegation scrap imo. Pilko
Moyes will have them about 14-15th this season and maybe 11-14th next season. He'll not set the world on fire but he's a safe enough pair of hands.

Stifler
Moyes is a sideways step, and on a 2 year deal. It shows you exactly where the new owners want to be, just in the Premier League raking in £100m every season.

There won’t be much in the way of changing style or system, so they are essentially banking on the emotional connection of Moyes to get them 17th. This is no long term answer, they have just flipped a coin. They were stable enough under Dyche to survive imo, it’s a risk to bring Moyes in now. I reckon it could go badly. I think it's more of a case of stay up, steady the ship and look again when someone better is available.

I don't imagine anyone will get that squad of players challenging for anything without a fair few transfer windows in between, 2 years sounds right to get the club from relegation fight to safe mid table club. We were a bit of a a freak in that regard.

He'll keep them up, probably have a little bit more to spend (I assume) with the new owners, and take them into the new stadium next year. No FFP issues will remain for a few years. Wages too high, revenue too low.

Don't they have a huge number of players that have their contacts running out this season? Obviously that creates it's own problems though. Debt isn’t a massive issue for FFP (minus the new interest stuff). They were paying Ben Godfrey obscene amounts of money among others.
