nbthree3
Villa after Fonseca... https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10154213/Aston-Villa-make-informal-contact-Paulo-Fonseca-pressure-mounting-Dean-Smith.html Aston Villa have sounded out Paulo Fonseca as they consider potential replacements for under-pressure boss Dean Smith. Sportsmail understands that informal contact has been made with the representatives of the Portuguese coach and sources believe Smith is on borrowed time after four straight losses. The word out of Villa Park last week was that the hierarchy, led by chief executive Christian Purslow, remain supportive of the manager. But the contact with out-of-work Fonseca indicates that candidates are being explored in the event of Smith going. The 48-year-old was in talks with Spurs in the summer and spoke to Newcastle about their vacancy. But the Magpies’ new owners are looking instead at Villarreal’s Unai Emery and Belgium boss Roberto Martinez. They want to appoint a new boss before the trip to Brighton on Saturday. Chapo
I’d still take a gamble on him and spend big on a CB and LB in Jan in hope that it would shore up the defence.

The Prophet
He's got a serious job on there. I can only assume he's had guarantees Levy will get the cheque book out.

Kid Icarus
Whatever happens it's going to be really interesting. Spurs either become a real force or barring a Levy fuck up, Conte takes a notch off his reputation.
Kid Icarus
No doubt in my mind that he's fickle and will turn it up to 11 if Conte's his manager. Watch his interview with Neville if you haven't. The stuff he says about ambition and about loving The Last Dance and if you've watched that he'll probably see Conte as his Phil Jackson. In the 2019-2020 season, Tottenham commercial revenue was £162m whilst ours was £29m. Thanks Mike. Which is why it’s imperative we grow that side of the club asap in order to compete with the likes of Spurs, let alone Man Utd etc (£279m).

Very much doubt it Nuno Santos - 17 games, 49% win rate MEDIA- Wrong choice, not good enough, make a change now before it’s too late. Guest
Manager of the Month in 1 of his 3 months in charge and within a couple of points of the top 5 which is realistically their ceiling given the squads and money Liverpool, Chelsea, Man U & Man C have. Seems a tad harsh, it’s not like they’d not have known the style of football he played before they took him on.
