It happens a lot. This season would suggest that it was an anomaly. His “telling it like it is” isn’t working is it? So maybe he should listen to the “do gooders” Tbf, he's generally done really well with Sheff United, got them from League One to the Prem. Would argue that this year is a abnormality. I mean it’s a ridiculous thing to say and clearly what he’s doing is not working. They are going down. Last season and league 1 aren’t relevant to this season. Why he’s even saying stuff like this is beyond me. Agree it’s not the right thing to say but can’t say it hasn’t worked so far. Most of them not the greatest but it’ll still cost money to replace them as well as spending to improve the team.
