As long as he maintains firm control over the footballing side, they won’t be able to move forward. London + class stadium *should* mean they pretty much have their pick of the litter. I feel like it’s still worth pointing out that Spurs haven’t finished as low as seventh since 2009, and have been in the top four more often than not since then. Nobody “belongs” anywhere. I don’t know how old you are but sure, 20 years ago we were midtable. 40 years ago, when I was a kid, Newcastle were a shit midtable team in Division Two.
