ponsaelius
Marsch has come across as a total fraud to me from day one, tbh. Not sure what he'd done at all to earn a PL job. A company man who failed in a company-man job handed to him on a plate. Then weirdly walked into another club that has Red Bull links. No league win since 5th November now. No league win since 5th November now. 68.09% win percentage at RB Salzburg and won the double two times in a row before he was poached by RB Leipzig, he wasn't sacked by RB Salzburg. Wouldn't say he failed the company job. If all his PL matches with Leeds were "one season", he'd have Leeds at 33 points with 6 matches to go. Wouldn't say people would say he was an outright failure if people looked at Leeds at that point of a season, just not outperforming expectations. Not saying their recent form in the PL hasn't been absolute shit and that it doesn't look like he'll turn it around, though. Just feel any manager, or person for that matter, should be attacked for their actual failures and not for fake failures that gets thrown on top of the real ones. A 68.09% win rate in the elite super league that is the Austrian Bundesliga, mind Doubtless with a budget and infrastructure that dwarfs the nearest competition

He didn't fail at Salzburg. Failing to absolutely stomp the league with Salzburg would be a failure. Kinda like Celtic in Scotland during the non-Rangers years. The Bonk
LinkedIn wanker has me giggling good. The only social media I have and it's mostly for networking. Newsfeed is complete shit, but at least Microsoft made the mobile app somewhat useable. If they could only make Teams less shit.......

And now Orsic has posted this Narhan Jones man. The way he went about himself and also his team over the 2 legs, gave me proper Steve Bruce vibes. Don't really hate or like the Saints but he just doesn't seem to fit for them after the previous managers who've been there.
ponsaelius
Austria Salzburg have won 10 league titles in a row and have resources which completely outstrip their domestic league. You would struggle to find an easier managerial role in European football. He failed at RB Leipzig - a job he got purely because he is as an RB company man. It's hardly being 'poached' moving between one Red Bull club to another. Edited February 6, 2023 by ponsaelius

I don't think he's so disliked tbh, but Leeds are also in shit form, which will do it. He goes on like a tit on the touchline, but everyone hates that about Arteta without it being a supposed dislike for Spaniards. It's the most stereotypically American thing going to try and blame things on people being anti-American as well like and ironically probably feeds a dislike for Americans Edited February 6, 2023 by Kid Icarus

ponsaelius
I don't really have an issue with him other than that he comes across as a bit of a fraud tbh. Talks a good game but plays a poor and actually quite baffling style of football. Shouldn't really have walked into PL job after his failure at Leipzig. Leeds have some weird links to Red Bull (lots of rumoured takeover/shareholder talks in the past) so I can only presume that was part of it (along with since buying a load of players from Red Bull clubs). AyeDubbleYoo
Strange decision with all the recruitment they've done. Bet Weston McKennie is a bit confused They never looked like scoring a goal though, which is obviously not good for your relegation chances.
