As much as I sympathise with Man U fans for having a crap owner I don't think they can blame the Glazers for this one. They got the manager the fans wanted and give him the best part of £400 million.

Ten Hag wasted that on poor signings and fell out with the squad not the owners.

Bournemouth this seasons Leeds? Have spent a lot of money under the radar, on the face of it signing good players, brought in a young progressive coach on the up with the aim of playing attractive football but will ultimately go down.

The promoted sides may save them but them and Everton are trying their best to make it interesting.

It's a shame the media's fawning over every slightly unpolished, human answer to questions is going to make me sick of Ange at some point.

Seems a genuinely alright bloke, unlike Klopp who was always clearly a demented little cunt behind his 'zany' soundbites.

They've had a horrendous start fixtures wise though. I think they'll be fine.

I wonder where Rangers go from here, old experienced manager, young up and coming, foreign type ?

I've got a sneaky suspicion they might go for someone like Hassenhutl.

Potter, Muscat, Big Hass and Marsch linked. Wonder if Potter would do a Rodgers like redemption arc, although Chelsea still being shite helps his case for Prem job.

Potter should do a Howe and ignore the Old Firm, hold out for the next Brighton, Villa, etc level job. Could easily see him back at Brighton before the New Year with De Zerbi at Man Utd.

Rangers might be a good fit for Potter, though. Give him some midweek euro football over somewhere like Palace that might be in for him if Hodgson is done this season. Bloom doesn't strike me as someone who would go back for an ex manager. There's probably no animosity there, so it's definitely plausible.

Potter's still a good manager, not even sure it'd be redemption. The current state of Chelsea almost gives him a free pass.

I'd have a right smirk on my face if I was him after their start and transfer nonsense this summer.
