Got Bournemouth in the summer to replace O'Neil after relegation written all over him. His uncle being pally with the club, etc.

I would of just kept Potter, he may of finally got a tune out of the squad with him being a good manager and if it doesn't work out then replace in the summer. Lampard is a massive downgrade in my opinion.

Roman would’ve just kept Potter unless he had a man lined up. Roman never sacked full time 2 managers in a season iirc.

No point in Lampard. At least keeping Potter things might change. If at the end of the season it’s been diabolical change. But to cut him off now and bring in Lampard as Interim? It’s batshit crazy.

Had they brought in Enrique or someone now? Fair enough.

All of these jobs available/under threat this season and I've never seen a single mention in the media of Steve "1000 games" Bruce. Yet Hodgson and Fwank are back in the Prem.

HA.

Big Sham had a mention for Everton before Dyche got it. Has he been mentioned for anywhere else ?

Genuinely insane they didn't just stick with Potter until end of season and then sacked him and got the man they wanted in the summer. But no, lets sack Potter, pay him a shed load now and then bring back Big Frank

Said it before, Roman looks a fucking stable bastard in comparison to Boehly

Boehly needs to sack himself.

If the answer is that Tuchel and Potter aren’t good enough then it’s clear you’re asking the wrong question.

It is daft but it's a free hit for Lampard to rebuild his reputation isn't it, he either does ok, which may persuade a minnow of a club to take a chance on him, he does terribly, in which case he's probably no worse off than now when he's been binned off as a premier league coach, or he wins the champions league by fluke (chelsea fucking love doing that don't they?) in which case he will inevitably get given the job at chelsea then get a massive payoff in october when reality has sunk in that he's not good enough.

For chelsea guess appeals to the fans to buy in, he'll be probably ok at motivating dressing room but how he's going to parse the enourmous squad. Tactically he will be hopeless but that may be a relief from Potter's overthinking. I predict he will get some results but lose the big games badly, everyone will shrug and proper operator will come in in summer despite calls from media shouting for him to be given the job permanently for no reason. Boehly may relent, he does seem an idiot. There is clearly decent coach willing to jump on board late season, what is in it for them? Another two months out of work isn't going to diminish their reputation too much but two months crashing and burning in a dumpster fire may do.

What a lucky cunt he is, man.

No side should have touched him after the Everton debacle.

We'll be saying the same thing in 10 years time when he gets brought in as a safe pair of PFM hands to help someone avoid relegation.

Really hope Lampard gets a few results and they decide to keep him behind this season, it'll set them back even further.

Personally think there's a strong likelihood that would happen.

He'll get some sort of new manager bounce and, let's face it, with the players they've got, sticking all 11 players in their right position would go some way to making that happen.
