Scotty66
Norwich sacked Houghton last time didn't they? How many managers have they had that gets them promotion but relegation from the PL straight away. Delia doesn't spend any money on strengthening the squad, selling Buendia at the start of the season when he is a key player is a bonkers decision. Norwich could easily become a regular PL team as they have near enough dominated the Championship since early 2000s. Its really not the manager that's the issue. Jordan
I’m sure it turned ugly towards the end for Hughton with the Norwich fans. Can’t see him going back.

et tu brute
Will Norwich be tempted by Bruce?, or has every club in or eying the premiership now seen sense. Edited November 6, 2021 by et tu brute
STM
No chance they will hire Hughton or Bruce IMO. They will go foreign and obscure. Someone like Watfords recently sacked manager.

HaydnNUFC
Part of me can actually see Bruce at Norwich played for them and that. But since Hughton, Norwich have tended to go for the more obscure appointments; Adams, Neil, Farke.
woody
I'm kind of curious as to how Bruce does in job interviews. I assume it's all vague generalities, mentions of working together and the need for at least two Steves. Edited November 7, 2021 by woody
ElDiablo
Personally would like to avoid the absolute inevitability of a Bruce side stinking up a victory against us. We've seen the luck he gets with results for ourselves.

Tsunami
Danny Murphy saying Norwich have done the right thing in sacking Farke having spent months defending Bruce ?. Really do hope Bruce gets the gig and fucks off down to the fens and sinks looking for his next pasty.

Ben
In most of his roles he seems to do quite well in his first season, however once the rot sets in he puts clubs back for years
SUPERTOON
I wouldn’t even think Bruce got an interview for our job more a case of he was the only one who would take it.
Pilko
42 minutes ago, Ben said: In most of his roles he seems to do quite well in his first season, however once the rot sets in he puts clubs back for years Because he'll come in, all jovial and "nice guy", having a laugh with the lads, plenty days off, no pesky thinking for the players to do on tactics or set pieces or whatnot and that will make everyone relaxed and happy and positive, playing for the manager etc. Then after this non-tactical "do-as-you-please-and-run-about-a-bit" approach gets you tonked a few times, no win in 10 and the morale starts to slide, he's got absolutely fuck all else in the locker to try and arrest the negative momentum other than sniping at the press and blaming other people. Suddenly slapping them on the back and getting them fired up doesn't cut it and the players crave a tactical plan, direction, proper training etc. Bit of a different case under Ashley where it was "get what you're given" but usually he oversees huge and constant squad turnover whilst spunking millions on bang average shite who he ends up barely playing. Dandy Don
Funny how Norwich wait until they finally win a game then sack him.. Fat Frank Lampard is the word going round, been talking to him before yesterday.

He was something like 12th or 15th choice wasn't he? On Norwich though, I've given up trying to understand why Newcastle and it's fans were given so much grief for wanting and then eventually sacking Bruce. Compared to the complete lack of adverse coverage ANY other club is getting when they sack their managers since our Bruce ordeal ended, even those, like Farke, who won their last match and still went. The hypocrisy from the media/pundits is utterly unfathomable, I can't even get angry about it anymore Edited November 7, 2021 by Armchair Pundit
