Dinho lad
Yes, but people talk about him almost like he's on a par with the likes of Klopp and Pep. And gets linked with the likes of Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, Man Utd, etc. He hasn't won much. Compare him to someone like Emery or Allegri.... Dinho lad
Allegri, Emery. Conte, Simone.... all have won various major trophies relatively regularly. Edited March 11, 2022 by Dinho lad
Dinho lad
Pochettino is regarded as highly as them - he's clearly not achieved anywhere near them. No one said he is failure or that he didn't do a good job at Spurs; he's just not as good as people say he is. I think he is the same type of manager as Rafa and Klopp in the sense that he is more suitable for a working class club than Madrid or PSG. He is still young for a manager and the work he did at Spurs was outstanding. His work at Southampton is also commendable. But agree with you that his body of work as of now is not of the same level of Klopp or Rafa.

Guest HTT II
Clark showed promise as a young manager early on in his career, but he surrounded himself with people way past their sell by date by the time he was making it through the lower leagues with Huddersfield and continued that. Plus he has a drink problem…

wormy
Lee Clark in Sudan for a 51 day run is a mildly amusing thought but credit to him for taking the plunge and trying to keep his managerial career going.
joeyt
I didn't realise he's already managed that Sudanese club before just before a brief spell in Oman

What he did at Huddersfield was insane. How he went from that to Birmingham and then the absolute nosedive after I have no idea. Is a crying shame imo. Clark was involving himself in management whilst he was still playing for us, getting involved in Walker Central etc. Then obviously reserve team coach here with Roeder then to Norwich with Roeder and doing so well at Huddersfield. Guest
Personally think both he and Pochettino would be brilliant appointments for Man U.
The Prophet
Personally think what Poch achieved at Spurs was incredible and he'd be a more tried and tested fit. Ten Hag looks great, but is still relatively unproven. Edited March 24, 2022 by The Prophet
