Obviously we don't know what he was offered after leaving us, but with hindsight surely there must have been better options than China and Everton for him? His stock will obviously be quite low after how it panned out at Everton, whether that was his fault or not.
The Bonk
Aye, not worth the shite that will come with the Forest gig should it go pear shaped.

Going by their summer spending, can only imagine that their owners/chairman is rather reckless, so aye would agree that it'd be surprising to see him survive the week. He owns Olympiakos as well, he's just sacked the guy from Huddersfield, Corberan (who Cooper beat in the play off final) after 5 games in charge. Cooper is toast. nufcjb
If Rafa views the Forest as a project, then fair enough for him to take it. Problem is, they signed 183792 players this summer, so would he able to work with all of them and also bring in his own? The media will probably be saying this is his last chance to prove he's still got it and compare him to whatever Cooper has achieved there plus what fat Frank has done at Everton since he left. Wish he'd get a more low profile job rather than the Forest one. Wolves would be a better fit, he'd go there, get the players playing to their potential and probably less pressure compared to try keeping Forest up with a demanding owner. The Bonk
WBA should scoop up Cooper if he gets the sack this week. Be interesting to see if he can undo the Bruce fuckery.

No chance he gets the Wolves job. And he'll get no credit for doing a decent job. The only way is down for Wolves - league position wise.

The Bonk
Guess Rafa turned them down. Continuity might be best for them beyond this season as the drop looks inevitable and will take until January for the majority of the players bought to work properly together. I bet they'll come straight back up and fare much better, with a fucking shirt sponsor sorted for the 2024 season.

Nine
Forest have been as much as a disaster so far as a few of us expected on here, signing a whole new squad was just mental really. Totally out of balance on recruitment, not suprised a lot of staff there are looking at getting the chop. With that being said towards the end of the season there’s a chance the right manager could have them gelling together better, World Cup break will not help though. Wolfcastle
They're a bit like Boro. Solid team built by a promising new manager but then signed a bunch a marquee mercenaries that dont blend with that and lost all their team spirit and shape and became a much worse team. Boro were 2nd just after they signed Juninho and would have went down the first season if it wasn't for the good start. I know though Forest didn't have as much choice about it.
