After the form they hit towards the end of the season and all the shit they let him get away with I'm surprised they've done it now, very odd. To be honest my opinion of him though is he's a complete bell-end, I still don't know how he managed to get away with throttling McArthur on the sidelines, especially after the punishment Pardew got for nutting Meyler.

Why do people think that employee/manager relations are any different in football?

I could be amazing at my job but if I'm a dick in the office and fall out with my boss, there's a good chance I'll be leaving. If Pearson is intolerable at the training ground all week (and judging by his antics he probably is) then why would the club keep him?

BBC confirm its linked to his son.

The Times this morning saying the same, that the decision being taken out of Pearson's hands led to a breakdown in trust.  That after all of the previous issues.

Post season tours are never a good idea like last year when Yaya Toure was made to go to Abu Dhabi whilst his brother was dying in a Manchester hospice and the owner didn't even give him a birthday cake.
