I mean how do they sidestep Vini Jr receiving racist abuse and Mourinho essentially saying "nah, he's making it up" Ive got visions of Vini Jr sitting in Sky interview saying "he didnt fake injury, but playing defensive midfielder doesn't work for him" Mourinho has had his time. His methods no longer guarantee success. Dont get me wrong...when he first appeared he was innovative and not many could rival his charisma and tactics. However that was 23 years ago. He has been caught up with and surpassed. He is as much yesterdays man as Rafa is now

I thought the Red Bull clubs were supposed to be smart! Or prehaps the unique pressures of managing the Old Firm are better suited for old school "man manager" types rather than new school data nonces
The Butcher Posted Sunday at 09:57 Share Posted Sunday at 09:57 Funny how Amorim, one of the worst ever to manage in the PL, just casually walks into the Milan job.

I don't think he's a complete bum of a manager, I think he was in the wrong movie, the Man Utd job was far too big for him, especially at that stage of his career. Certainly not one of the worst in the PL, there are 5 Newcastle managers of the top of my head who are infinitely worse than him.

Dr.Spaceman Posted Sunday at 10:04 Share Posted Sunday at 10:04 It's funny how a meagre 38% win ratio for Sheffield Wednesday and a failure at Rangers has led to managing Leipzig in the CL.
The Butcher Posted Sunday at 10:07 Share Posted Sunday at 10:07 WIth the resources Amorim had available. Struggling to think of many worse. Finished 15th with Man Utd. Incredible that. Lowest win rate of any Man Utd manager since the 70s. 31% win rate in the league. 15 wins in 47. 7 clean sheets or 1.5 conceded every game, "OK".
