Decky
Pardew's 1st win in the cups against lower opposition in 90 mins. Eh? 1st time we've beat a lower league team within 90 mins under Pardew. Previous wins were all after ET (Scunthorpe, Forest).

Mole_Toonfan
Happy with that, played well in the main and kept a clean sheet. Hoping for a home draw and a win on Monday.

Guest icemanblue
Done well there, like. Made the tie look as it should, which we so often don't do. Happy with that, considering the changes. Two great goals, and some nice play to retain possession. Job done.
Dokko
Krul - 6. Fuck all to do. Debuchy - 5. Started brightly but was always the weakest link in the second half. Williamson - 6. Was fine with the little he had to do. Coloccini - 6. As above. Dummett - 6. More promising stuff, rarely troubled, one nice cross. Tiote - 6. Fine. Anita - 7. Always looked like he could set something away. Marveaux - 6. Barely in it without doing anything wrong. Does nowt from the right, which we already knew. Gouffran - 7. Great, great goal. Sammy - 7. Great cross and looked dangerous at times. Some sloppy passes in the second half. Cisse - 6. Took his goal well but was absolutely atrocious other than that. Think it's hard to argue with this. Just got back, Leeds fans were amazing, ok bit shit in their choice of songs and chants but A+ for effort and noise level. Love the view in the middle of the east stands, only it's very hard to get in to the action vocally.
Ryan
Brilliant cup tie, really enjoyed it. Leeds fans were the best we've had at SJP for a long time, fair play to them Gouffran's goal was a cracker.
Foluwashola
Solid performance. Players ignored Pardew's pleas to throw the tie clearly. Probably going to be out next round, but at least it's at home. Hopefully this will be some sort of boost for Monday.
biggs
well done to the players for ignoring club protocol and winning a cup game they were ordered to lose by the club directors
joeyt
Might have been asked but is that the two teams from the biggest one club cities? (Not sure if that makes sense) (Not sure if Sunderland is technically bigger)

Ashley17
Enjoyed that, rare trouble free evening and fairly professional from us throughout. That McCormack chip would have been a lush goal, their fans were good. Except for the "your shit aaahhhhh" every time Krul cleared it.

ponsaelius
Can't believe how bad Leeds were. They looked very limited for a decent Championship side.
