Not sure about downhill. Feels disingenuous to say it's been all downhill for us since we've seen more finals and won more trophies in the last 2/3 years alone than most fans are lucky to see in their lifetime.

Steep drop-off from Fergie though obviously, which was inevitable.

it’s absolutely been downhill. It’s all relative of course, but there’s been no challenge for the champions league, no real challenge for the title and littered with league positions Ferguson wouldn’t have dreamt of.

If you're making the argument that we've had a good start, dominated matches, and been unlucky due to our lack of striker up until now - all of which I totally agree with btw - I have no idea why you'd cite the Leeds game like.

I'm being bullied now. Going home. 😁 For the record I said we'd dominated all of our games. I genuinely believe we were the better team against Leeds but acknowledge others don't agree. I'll shut up now.

I think Manu tried hard, but again that set-up just leaves them open to total midfield domination, where most contested balls end up at the feet of the other team. The players do not fit the system, and that system seems like It is meant for a struggling low level team (541) rather than a supposed top 6 challenger. It is too easy for other teams to dominate.

As a plus point, I thought Sesko looked really good, strong on the ball, good awareness, ran the channels well and worked hard, just didn't Get any helo form his teamates tbh.

Can see Amorim sacked before christmas and mid table meh this year.

He's right in much of that (bar that dreadful pronunciation of Bayındır). The main issue is a coach who is limited (give Man U's players to Howe and he'd get a tune out of them within ten games), and they are throwing players at him who performed well under other good coaches in defined roles, but will drift at Man U under Amorim. They keep wondering why players they sign turn to shit when they've not had a really top class coach since Fergie (I include Mourinho in that) who understands the environment and taps into it, rather than try to fight it.

If I were them and about to ditch Amorim I'd be looking at Iraola. God forbid Howe goes, but if he does whilst Iraola is still at Bournemouth I'd be straight on the phone to them (and I was championing Howe for years before he came to us).

Amorim’s 31 points in 31 league games is the worst over that time period of any team in PL history that doesn’t include teams that ended up relegated. Basically they’re on the worst run of form of any non relegated team in PL history.

They're not

I live here. My wife’s family are all Man U fans. I work with them. I’ve never heard a single one of them advocate the sacking of a manager since Moyes. They massively had ETH’s back and Amorim moreso. Ignore what rubbish you read from the weirdos not from Manchester.

I thought it was an even game against Leeds they arguably had the better openings.

Aye on reflection I'm a bit off with that opinion. We did have more possession and completed more passes but it means fuck all really. I need to  stop biting man. 😆

Glasner is so far and away the best choice there it’s mental.

I reckon Nuno would get a tune out of them go long to sesko like he used wood.

It will be like back in the frank Stapleton years.
