I feel like some people are underestimating the advantage of not playing in Europe. Amorim is a really good coach and he will get (and has already had) far more time with the players than, say, Thomas Frank. Don’t think Man U are a shoo-in for Top six of course, but I wouldn’t put it past them.

I'm pretty sure they get less money from their sponsor when they're not in the champions league, which is probably pretty standard. That's just being phrased in the most clickbaity way possible.

The way that is worded is absolutely hilarious.

Adidas pay us £90m a year. If we don't qualify for the Champions League it becomes £80m a year, and still the biggest deal in the league.

But yes we still have to pay Casemiro's wage for another season. There is some massive, massive wages dropping off our books this/next summer.

Don't get too cocky, Targett's wages are dropping off our books next year!

Probably to be replaced by some more massive wages

I'll make mine,

I've never, not even once met one of their supporters who I didn't think was a massive fucking thundercunt.

Despise them, every single one of the cunts, same as scousers.

Agreed- one bloke in particular was so boring with them, you could talk football with him for say an hour (worked together) and he’d make it 100% Man U where with Leicester or Forest fans we’d discuss both teams like a normal conversation. It actually made me more conscious regarding talking football with people and I now always check myself to make sure it’s not all Newcastle

In my experience, every Man Utd fan I've ever met from in and around Manchester has been absolutely sound, we've got on well and could have a normal conversation about both our teams and football as a whole. HOWEVER! Most Man Utd fans I've met who tick all the 'glory hunter' boxes have been absolute dicks and hijack every conversation about football and turn into a discount Goldbridge rant. They're the kind of guys who get their football news from Troll Footballs Facebook page, their football knowledge outside of Man Utd only extends to the Super League teams.

@Froggyyou lot were out of the gate quickly with Cunha but things seem slow, what's going on ?

Out of the gate quickly because he had a release clause.

Brentford want £65m for Mbeumo, and we want to pay a few million less so there's a bit of a standoff. Given the fees that Kudus, Elanga and Madueke are going for, he's clearly worth £65m and more so I wish we'd just pay it now and get him in before we leave for the US.

Summer window started well for us and it's went stale. Not too arsed about a heap of new signings, but no movement at all for the likes of Rashford and Sancho is really disheartening.

Tbf I would have us take a punt on Rashford, but not on those wages. There’s clearly a player still there - he showed glimpses of it at Villa - just needs the right coach - that could be Eddie Howe.

I genuinely don’t understand what Radcliffe et al are doing when it’s comes to Mbuemo. Just pay the fee. They aren’t due any discount and Brentford don’t owe them any favours - absolutely zero sense in not paying the extra fee million. £65m in todays market is bang on the money for a player with Mbuemos numbers.

It’s all starting to look a bit familiar this isn’t it from the initial excitement of a new season? Slow off the mark, no real plan or cohesive transfer strategy, still the same old troublemakers at the club stinking the place out - when is the Amorim era going to actually take flight because from where I’m sat it’s more of the same shite with a different manager in the dugout.
