De Bruyne to City according to Kicker.

75m euros and will apparently have a medical tomorrow.

haven't seen much of him but if he is as good as the price indicates then what the fuck were chelsea playing at not even bothering to use him

So they've been mint with Silva playing in that position so no doubt he'll be getting shifted.

De Bruyne has mainly played on the wings with freedom to roam and he's not really a 10 from a traditional sense tbh, this doesn't effect Silva at all IMO. He'll just come in for Navas and seeing as he's miles better they will only get better.

De Bruyne for Navas imo is the difference between City simply running away with the title, and getting very far in the CL too.

Silva playing in the middle and just Aguero up front instead of two is also a reason they will do better in the CL as well IMO, unless of course they run into Barca and Bayern again.

yeah met his £4.9 million release clause I believe

Wew, pretty low release clause for him. Quite surprised City/Chelsea weren't in for him at that price, they'd still both make a profit for him in a few years.

Good signing that.

Yes he is, but like Sterling i'm not convinced he's worth anywhere near his fee. Having said that i doubt they give a shit and overpaying for quality is better than giving up and getting crap.

That literally doesn't matter though. For a club like Manchester City, the only relevant question is: does this player make them better? In the case of both Sterling and de Bruyne, the answer of course is yes.
