I have to say this comfortably the stupidest post I've ever seen on this forum.

When you consider he has Stifler blocked it's plausible.

But why not just loan him out, with a loan fee, and sell him on again after loan expires if that's the case?

Sounds kind of silly to in essence pay another club £25m to take him for a year in the hope that he flourishes so you can sell him. Im sure there must be several clubs willing to pay them for a years loan.

Maybe Citeh think there is a good chance of him not quite hitting their level, so having a below-market-value option and cash in hand now is better than hanging onto him. A loan will expose him to playing in a poorer side. The buyback means limited reward for the buyer for a lot of risk, changing the whole deal.

For the player, he gets to play CF (presumably) and develop further. Rashford won't be playing CF at Man U.

Based on this and the talk of a fee for the Tammy Abraham loan, it's hard to see us buying or loaning anyone from the PL.

Didn't realised Chelsea had raised about £100m in transfer fees this summer. Probably a lot more than that if we think of loan fees to the likes of Zouma and Abraham too.

Barca can improve themselves quite easily with the money, so I'd be really happy with this situation if I cared about them.

I just don't trust our board with any money to be frank. Our transfer record speaks for itself. That said, if that money buys us Coutinho+a good left sided forward, I'll be happy.
