Super Duper Branko Strupar
All of them were long range before the formation change. Get a life.
Mattoon
Was pulling what little of my hair is left out for the whole 93 but screamed like a little girl when Ben Arfa bounced that ball off Cisse's head You could see HBA lining up for the shot, realising he's cornered in he sees Cisse's head poking out and goes for the ricochet, what a player man! Wullie
Just seen the goal again, what a sensational ball from HBA. Even better than I thought at the time.

TRon
Last on MOTD. Doesn't matter there's plenty of entertainment in the other games to keep us going until then. Chelsea and Liverpool goals galore and Sunderland getting ass-pounded
Dave
http://metro.co.uk/2014/03/22/how-the-referee-lee-probert-helped-newcastle-united-beat-crystal-palace-4673326/ Eagles stopper Julian Speroni was in excellent form again, denying a number of Newcastle chances and he was on course to picking up another clean sheet. Well that was until referee Lee Probert ruined Palace’s day by signalling three minutes of added time, then allowing the clock to run into four minutes and Newcastle scored. Forgetting the number of times he gave 50-50 decisions Newcastle’s way, the ref had already played more time at the end of the first half to let Newcastle fire in a free-kick – and he did it again at the death. Having missed a blatant handball by Mike Williamson who was under pressure from Glenn Murray, play quickly moved up the other end of the field and Papiss Cisse headed in Hatem Ben Arfa’s cross in the 94th minute – well over the injury time he had allocated. It’s hard enough against 11 men in this division but playing 12 makes it even more difficult. Any truth in any of that or just bitterness?

ujpest doza
How did we play? Alright, just couldn't break them down. Then eventually we did. Aye, I thought the 1st half was quite open and the second they tried to shut up shop and we did okay trying to break them down and eventually got the goal we deserved. Bitterness, totally ignoring the blatant penalty for handball we weren't given in the 1st half. They were time wasting from the 1st minute so deserved to get done in injury time. Pata
Just finished watching. Weird game, we created more chances that I expected with that lineup but were really shaky at the back. Cisse did everything well but score until the last minute, guess it's positive that he's getting chances and today he even managed to hit the target with most of them (Speroni's chest tho but that's better than the stands). Hatem lifted the whole team once again. Happy with the points, really average performance.
joeyt
Its a minimum of 3 minutes. Should have been about 5 anyway with the time wasting plus 6 substiutions
henke
In the second half there was plenty of times i was expecting the whistle to go for a palace free kick and nothing happened. If i was an away fan today i'd have came away feeling aggrieved.
maybe_next_year
Gouffran/Sissoko on the wings is really beginning to annoy me. Don't think I've ever seen a winger spend less time on the wing than Gouffran. Real lack of width in our play, no surprise when your only natural wide player on the pitch is Paul Dummet. Disco
Lush to see Pulis get his comeuppance for swapping an already negative 4-4-1 to an even more negative set up and lose. Kept his better attackers on and he might have got something out of it.

I know what you mean, there's not that much justification for it against lesser sides. The fullbacks don't really need the protection, and neither of those players are wide men. That said, apart from Hatem we don't have a load of good wide options. We shold play 433 basically.
Disco
that was the handball that would avoided defeat? Fuck off man.
Dave
Fantastic ball in and a good header. Decent effort from Tiote before that too, and a tidy ball from Yanga-Mbiwa back across that Cisse should have converted.
