Newcastle United 0 - 3 Everton - 25/03/14 - post-match reaction from page 30

You have to take the highs with the lows.

We've had some fantastic results with Pards at the helm and we've had some not so fantastic results too. But that's football - it's fine margins. Sometimes you need that little rub of the green or one of your purples to produce a bit of magic and we didn't have that today. If we had scored first, who knows what could have happened - it could have been US winning three nil.

On the whole - this season has been OK - some very memorable results against the big clubs and some euphoric last minus goals too, that's what football is all about - enjoying those moments. Pards showed he can mix it head-to-head with the best managers too so that's another positive.

So for Pards that makes one amazing season (when we finished 5th), one bad season (when we nearly got relegated but there were lots of reasons(one is Europe, another is injury))  and one OK/Good season (this one).

All we can do now is dust ourselves off and get ready for the next game. Cause even though Europe might now be out of our reach, these lads owe it to themselves(professional/money) and to Pards to try and win every game and send the fans home happy. And the lads need the fans support now more than ever too. So get behind the lads and let's look forward to next season! (paper says Mike is going to buy players)

Just getting in to say this is an OK post before you get absolutely hammered. We've kind of earned the space to complain so much about being 8th. Not that we're good this season, we aren't.

Ando having a go at Ben Arfa - saying that he did nout and deserves not to start. :(

I swear people like that are living in a parallel universe. I absolutely cannot get my head round it. We had one chance (an absolute cast-iron sitter that get missed once out of ten), and it was PURELY down to him.

 He's not the only cunt out there either with that thinking. Might be something in that theory, because it just doesn't make sense. Really pisses me off.

Only thing Pardew deserves is my foot up his useless ass.

The man is a fucking fraud but keep the faith and all that.

Krul - 6. :dontknow:

Yanga-Mbiwa - 4. Unconvincing at the back, gave less than nowt going forward.

Williamson - 4. Real lack of effort on the first goal and useless on the third, unconvincing otherwise.

Coloccini - 4. Real lack of effort on the third goal, unconvincing otherwise.

Dummett - 4. Had a real task with Deulofeu and failed. Nowt going forward either.

Sissoko - 6. If anything was gonna happen in the first 60 minutes, it was through him. Lots of running but he faded.

Tiote - 6. Decent movement and some good challenges, offered little.

Anita - 4. You've got to score that, man. Rubbish at full-back, too.

Gouffran - 3. Everything he did was terrible, tbh. Didn't get back enough and lost possession constantly.

Cisse - 6. Some decent runs and touches.

De Jong - 5. A couple of okay touches but largely anonymous.

Ben Arfa - 7.

Thats just the problem, when we dont score first we cant turn a game a round.  It usually ends in a humoing.  If we score first we can usually hang on and pluck a second. Thats as far as our football goes under this fucking snake charmer.

I think this season has been a massive disappointment, for different reasons to last season, obviously.

On the face of it, 8th is alright. It could and should have been so much more, though. Then there's the cups. Then there's the Mackem defeats. Then there's getting tanked at home over and over again.

We aren't good and we've had some terrible defeats. But overall we're still 8th, which isn't that bad. That's not about defending Pardew it's a fact.

Aye we are 8th, and tbf its not too shabby. But what we produce on the pitch is f***ing disgusting. And whats with the awful 4-4-2 that has not worked, and we're not even trying to produce a game-plan, but rather try to fight the game-plan out of the opposition which seems to have worked so great this season! like magic it is! Oh and how about getting trashed by the mackems a two times a year, always a great feeling that is.

EDIT:

And how about our great record when someone scores against us? We cant seem to win those games no matter what.

Fair point, I don't really disagree with that. But then again, after last season a lot of people were expecting a lot worse than 8th or 9th. I agree the manner of the 8th is not good, and the cups were obviously awful.
