De Jong out is the right move.

We will see I for see an isolated Cisse feeding on scraps after being dominated physically

De Jong hardly remedies that, like.

Better at dropping deep into space and linking play than Cisse for me.

However de jong certainly hasn't set the world a light

I'd go 4-4-2 with that starting XI. Gouffran and Cisse up front, supported by Ben Arfa and Sissoko from the flanks.

Sissoko in the hole :anguish:

Gouffran LM :anguish:

If Gouffran and Ben Arfa are encouraged to get closer to Cisse and look for goals then we could well see us scoring a couple. But more likely they'll be playing in their own half if we set up in our usual defence first strategy.

I would rather see Gouffran through the middle than Cisse and I would have put Marveaux on the left if he's fit, you would like to think he isn't fit with him not being on the bench.  If he's fit and not even on the bench then Pardew has dropped another bollock.

Official site says 4-2-3-1 with Ben Arfa central, so basically a 4-4-1-1.

 naturally he couldn't get it all right.

We'll see how it lines up but they're usually pretty accurate

I'd be surprised if Benny was trusted to cope with Luke Shaw.

Ben Arfa HAS to play right side though, ridiculous to start him anywhere else.

Aye, I wouldn't be surprised. God forbid the FBs don't have their hand holders playing infront of them.
