We're deffintely at a stage where playing him won't be the worst decision in the world like.

I have images of Rafa trying to go through tactics like it's a set 4 class at school. Steven Taylor flicks a snot at Jack Colback, who calls him a dick and punches him in the arm, Rafa sends one of them out. Meanwhile Mitrovich is stabbing a compass into his BCG mark and trying to get it infected because he thinks it would be funny but he's actually quite bright when he applies himself. Tiote's the one who doesn't speak because he's got really serious shit going on at home, while Cisse's really friendly to all the teachers and seems to be getting on with his work, but then you look down and he's just been drawing Sonic the Hedgehog for an hour. Ayoze was put in the class because he doesn't speak English and they assumed he had learning difficulties. Steven Taylor tells him that every English word for inanimate objects is 'fuck'. Rob Elliott is the one who's growing tired of the antics and just wants to learn, which tells you everything you need to know.

Shelvey does look like the type of person who keeps his coat on and doesn't speak, but then something will be said and he'll beat someone to within an inch of their life.

The great of the Gallowgate, the lad of the Leazes, his excellency of the East and the magician of the Milburn will be back at the weekend. Form an orderly queue to celebrate appropriately.

Sissoko and Gini are the ones who only turn up for school when a fire drill is planned

Colback actually got in the opposition box last season and chipped in with the odd goal, something that Anita or Tiote have never offered and that has vanished from Colback's game this year. He's still mediocre of course, but the box to box mediocre of last year beats the sitting and holding mediocre of this. If a midfielder is going to make stray passes and commit clumsy fouls, the further he does it from our own box, the better.

Ha Ha love this, Kruls dad works away all the time so he compensates by buying him loads of top quality clothes and he seems happy but is really an emotional wreck.

Colback back in the middle, 3 points, clean sheet. Fulcrum of our team.

I want to die.

Fulcrum of our team.

He was important in that he sat in front of the defenders and at least tried to close the gaps alongside Tiote rather than stand watching while players run past. After the last few car crash performances it was important to have some discipline and bite in the middle and both players at least did a job. Fair play.

Thought a proper manager was going to hoy him straight out the line-up?

It's tragic but we're stronger with him in the team.

And put in who? Colback's needed to come in as we signed a Ligue 1 winger and Jonjo Shelvey instead of the comanding central player we've needed since Cabaye left. A proper manager wouldn't have sat by and let that happen.
