Benwell Lad
He's still a weird mixture of brilliance and frustrating propensity to run into too many defenders, but that header is typical of the type of winning goal he can produce from nowhere. Don't want to take anything away from that Ritchie cross, but you wouldn't expect a goal from that, it was all in the anticipation and execution. He comes up with a few of those every season. Great analysis.
Infinitely Content
Think he's just a very good instinctual finisher, and if there's an area for him to work on that would move him up a notch as a player, it would be his composure. When he has time to think he is slightly prone to errors. Work on that side of his game and he'd be playing in the Champions League nee bother. Yorkie
He referenced it and his desire to get there a few times in his NUFCTV interview. Didn't sound like a guy who wanted to leave any time soon, though he ought to be chucking a transfer request in ASAP if Rafa doesn't stay, along with every decent player at the club. David Edgar
I think he's been on the weights. He's got just a little more strength which means he isn't breezed off the ball in tight areas like he used to be. His development in the second half of this season has been miraculous really. As people have pointed out, probably owes a great deal to the work Almiron is doing in the team.
Andy
Painfully thick fans once again being exposed for being the dangerous fucking short termist, at best, morons they are. It’s absolutely marvellous. In fairness earlier in the season he was very poor, constantly getting bullied by every defender in the league and looked sluggish on the ball. While some of the criticism was over the top and the booing was unacceptable, it wasn't all completely unjustified. He's improved massively of late in almost every aspect of his game, both technically and physically, and it's clear the criticism has given him a kick up the arse and done him good.
