TRon
Against Fulham he looked frustrated about both the lack of quality behind him (3 defensive mids) and the leniency of the referee towards physical defending. The latter issue isn't going away anytime soon. One thing which really annoys me about flair players is when they give the ball away under pressure instead of drawing a foul. Ben Arfa was good at shielding the ball and Ritchie looks the same. Ayoze has been similar to Thauvin last season in handing the ball over too easy when he's challenged. The refs are blind it's true, but he's still not doing enough to protect possession.
Leazes_End_Mag
He'll be fine if he plays on the left. You mean where he usually plays and is constantly shite?

The latter issue isn't going away anytime soon. The latter issue was his problem. He was rarely fouled, just muscled off the ball, like he was at the end of last season. Not sure if he's been sussed out or if he's lost the desire ?
KaKa
Please just put this guy on the left, at least for now. Ritchie on the right. Can't have him playing off the front man in this league. Getting bullied there.

Can't have him playing off the front man in this league. Getting bullied there. Has never impressed particularly on the wing either and will run into similar issues where ever he is on the pitch, hes lightweight yes but he doesn't have the bottle and generally gives in on the physical battles, barely challenges for headers. xLiaaamx
His best firm came up front in a 433. People say he can't play up top on his own though.
Ronaldo
Well yeah, he's not a striker, so of course he can't. Not if you want to win games. Come to think of it I don't remember him really playing up front by himself in a 4-3-3 at all.

Ronaldo
That hideously lucky patch that kept Pardew in a job? Either way, 3 goals don't change the fact he's not nearly physical or clinical enough to play up front.
Darth Crooks
Have some faith man. You just need to persist with some players.

The luckiest run of form I've known at this club, really did paper over the cracks. When you think about it though apart from the goals that Perez scored on that run, he didn't do much else in the games
The College Dropout
He'll be fine if he plays on the left. What is he going to bring to the team on the left? Genuine question.
Parsley
He'll be fine if he plays on the left. What is he going to bring to the team on the left? Genuine question. He offers genuine threat coming in as a right-footer operating in that inside-left channel. He tracks back well enough. He has far more space to work with out wide than in the middle where his lack of physicality has been often exposed. He can beat a man. The majority of his best performances for us have been when he played on the left with license to roam inside (Chelsea, West Ham, Norwich) and he is better than the alternatives. geordiedean
this guy isn't physical enough for the English league yes he has ability but he's brushed off the ball far too easily similar to Giaccherini. no use persisting with a guy that is not unto it physically
